This has to be my favourite fight in the game, the start where their arms meet just before the clash is like the acknowledgement of a worthy opponent and I just think that’s so cool. It’s like with every other opponent Kiryu faced, even in all of the other games, he respected his opponent on some level. Joon Gi Han, Someya, patriarch Hirose, etc. The only one he genuinely despised was Iwami.
I guess that's why Iwami was the final boss, because he was the only character in the game that he would genuinely would care if he killed him, unlike almost, if not everyone else he fought in the series, because with them, he would just try and leave them after, or other times, be there to witness them or someone else die.
