This show has so much potential and is full of iconic characters.
I like how the teacher treats history class like gym class, Blatsy is so wholesome and definitely doesn’t deserve the extreme bullying he gets at school (who’s with me on going to that school to make the bully leave him alone) and ghosts, don’t even get me started on the ghosts.

When June and the ghosts took the first picture, I expected it to turn out haunted or something. When it showed her alone, I thought she was crazy and the ghosts were imaginary. And I still think so. That would be a dramatic twist.

This pilot stuck in my head for years, to the point ehere when I saw The Ghost and Molly McGee come out, I assumed Disney had finally picked up the show (I'd forgotten its name and the protagonist's name). I'm so glad that it's finally being told as a webtoon.

Can we just appreciate the voice acting in this, and the animation? This is by far my favorite cartoon.
It’s been five years to date since this came out, I’m still waiting for a series.
Making this into a full animated series is and has always been our dream for the show! 💜 However, until the show is picked up by an animation studio, we've continued telling the story as a COMIC series -- there are 6 whole comic episodes available to read on WebToon: www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/obituary-episodes/list?title_no=335715 -- you can think of them as a prelude to the full animated series later. We really hope you like them! With just 2 of us making this entire thing, it's the most we can do with the resources we have.

@@theloudstarkirby4203 When we pitched the series to Cartoon Network and Disney, back in 2016 and 2017, they both chose to pass on the series, unfortunately. It wasn't the right time for either of the studios -- Disney, especially, because they already had "The Ghost and Molly McGee" in concept at the time, which they thought would be too similar a show to our concept. We are hopeful that we will be picked up in the future, though -- either by those studios or another. The best way fans can help is by spreading the media we do have the resources to produce (this pilot, and all the comic episodes) as far and wide as you can. The more networks see the demand for this show from fans like you, the stronger a case we can make to them.

It’s insane how invested I am in this after just nine minutes! All the characters are fun and dynamic, the voice acting and animation is beautiful, the plot is delightful, dang i hope this gets a full show someday!
I came here because the art style reminded me of hilda, but now I want a full series with 3 seasons, a backstory for every ghost AND a reason to why her parents aren't in the group of ghosts ! ! !

This was well done but damn I have seen this plot so many times before. Protagonist with something unique about them goes to HS where either A(girl) get bullied by the "mean" girls or B(boy) gets bullied by the jocks due to them finding them weird and later becoming close friends with a kid who is also in the same boat and/or is a social outcast just like the protagonist. I'm sure many movies/shows come to mind when this is read.

She’s never had anybody be genuine with her, she has never had healthy boundaries because she’s been given everything, and June gives some semblance of reality and meaning to her otherwise unsatisfying unauthentic existence. She can’t process June in a healthy fashion, and the only way she can be sure someone is authentic is by being a villain to them. If someone is openly against you, at least you know they’re being real.

Actually Steven Universe, and others are making more audience to the network, I can see their future is better than Nick and so on... And honestly I don´t think this plot is super interestig, maybe for Disney with their normal plots for normal people, with the same gravity falls/star vs the forces of evil over used style, the difference between cartoon network shows is that they are more experimental and are more wide to explore the main plot with subplots, likable character with complex development. Things that you remember forever.

This is great is surely derives more views. Can not wait until this becomes a actual show. You know what would be cool, if the actual show uses all of this elements of she living throughout high school but they add a mystery or make so each episode we learn something new about the ghost world, the ghost characters and how they died and a little mystery per episode that leads in into a bigger mystery which becomes the season finale.

“Oh those are fighting words. June, get your pistol.” By far the one joke that had me laughing the most. This is such an interesting concept for a show, and I feel like anyone would want to see more of it.

Well, the pilot episode of Infinity Train was posted on 2017 and only on 2020 the program is comming (just a reminder, infinity train was thought to be a dead project even after, being said to be amazing ) so there is hope.

I keep hearing about this! I just watched my first episode of this recently, and seems like a pretty fun show. I haven't met Sasha yet, but their expressions seem really similar! That we could have created a character who turned out to be just as compelling as a new Disney character is pretty neat :)
