After buying and using this tool I have to say I am very impressed. It saved me almost a days worth of work and cut it down to only a couple hours. This tool definitely paid for itself on the first job I used it on. I highly recommend this tool for carpet layers and floor refinishers makes the tedious job of removing all the carpet pad staples a whole lot easier.
This tool works great. I bought the package deal with the staple popper mini included. I did my living room and dining room all in about 20 minutes. It got out all the staples without breaking off any of them. Even the ones I thought were to far into the wood. I would recommend this tool to anybody.
I did a carpet rip out job for a friend and used this tool. this tool made it so easy to get the staples out. I have to stress that am not a flooring professional, the staple popper was simple to use and allowed me to finish the job in one day.
