The "I've got one last Trick. I'm gonna disappear" as he turns around and nonchalantly walks away actually made me chuckle
The most anxiety-inducing thing in this playthrough for me is sticking the head out the windows, absolutely gotta agree on how that's upsetting. Oof.
The dialogue is unexpectedly good in this. It's totally chill, natural conversation. For an indie horror game about clowns, I wasn't expecting decent dialogue.
The dialogue and characterization was surprisingly good in this. I don’t expect many games to write characters like actual people nowadays. Dialogue usually sounds clunky and tacky.
I like how quickly the clown turns from intimidating monster to feral raccoon you shoo away with a QTE while working.

Whoever they had animate that intro is damn close to god tier. I didn't expect that level of realism in the movements. Between that and how natural the conversation feels, serious props to the devs.
I hate when clowns stab me if I fail the real life quick time event.
As a clown, I can confirm if you beat us in a quick time event, we let out a satanic roar then disappear
I see a lot of people commenting on the conversations and how natural the characters feel, but the maze-like layout aside, the carnival attractions feel super realistic. The funhouse which I’m sad we didn’t get to see all of, and the cheap haunted house effects going towards the fortune teller room are just so authentic to these little fairs and carnivals that used to be really popular in America. I’m not big on the actual mechanics here, but the atmosphere is top notch.

There's a lot of really neat and well done elements to this, but my personal pet peeve is that ending.
