I'm only on winter of year 2, but earlier in the year I had 2 golden pumpkins, 1 from year 1 Spirit's Eve, and 1 from a treasure trove. I used both as gifts on the assumption I would get another one on Spirit's eve year 2, but then they changed the maze and the prize was a ticket 🎟️ instead of a golden pumpkin. I was devastated 😂.

Pro tip: trade omni geodes for artifact troves at The desert trader then use Stardew predictor to get tonnes of pearls, golden pumpkins and treasure chests
Typically: -Go to the fall festival -get a golden pumpkin -forgor about you're broke -sell it -buy some crops (only afford 1) -depressed -wait until fall season for festival -Repeat
