A while back I put the gold Lewis statue in the Saloon, behind the counter. Apparently, Lewis won't confiscate the statue if it's inside a town building, so it's still on display! The whole town gets to see it every Friday. :)

I started a new four corners farm this week and not only did I get a meteorite on night one, but it landed in the exact 2x2 spot to completely block off my south entrance until I get a gold pickaxe. I'm still reeling at the astronomical misfortune.
If I remember correctly, Four Corners has a lot of potential bottlenecks, so it may just be that it's easier to land in a bad spot on that farm by chance.
My favourite Easter egg that I dont see mentioned much is that Willy congratulates you and gives you a pearl if you have a fish pond with 10 crabs on your farm. I was about to get rid of them because they had only been giving me trash, when I accidentally triggered this on the way to ginger Island. So naturally my useless trash crustaceans have a free pass now.
I propose that the fruit from which the world grew in the Book of Yoba is actually the melon. 1.) It's one of only THREE crops that can grow into a giant crop (which would be an especially fitting honor for a crop so important to the in-universe lore/religion) 2.) Unlike the tomato, it actually has a tough skin (assuming the in-game melon resembles real-life melons like cantaloupe and honeydew). Like the tomato, a (real-life) melon's skin can be peeled open by hand (even though it's tougher) and a (real-life) melon grows on vines (although this isn't terribly apparent of the in-game melon, since it's not trellised and is instead allowed to grow on the ground-- which is a viable option, as the heavy fruit would require very sturdy trellising and support slings which might not be available or practical, but having the fruits on the ground might leave them more vulnerable to pests and disease) 3.) While it DOES have a growth time of 12 days instead of 11, it's my understanding that the first day of the counter is the day while it's still a seed-- and that passage from the book of Yoba said that the seed sprouted AND THEN 11 days passed AFTERWARDS before it bore fruit It's the crop shown growing on the title screen (where you choose to start a new game or load a save file), which, again, would be an especially fitting honor for a crop so important to the in-universe lore/religion (also-- new game is represented by the sprout/vine, load save is represented by the fruit itself, and, get this, multiplayer mode... is represented by THE EARTH... which always felt kind of out-of-place with the other option's thumbnails until I considered this interpretation) (insert obligatory "thanks for coming to my TEDtalk" here)

it's not really a secret but you can actually make more of Mayor Lewis's purple shorts by taking off your pants and put staircase in the slot instead. it'll glitch and create the purple short instead. so, you can complete the task but still able to have more. i have like 999 of them in my inventory lol.
When I first played this game 4 years ago I refrained to Google or watch to much tips videos like this one. Finding the junimo plush in the hidden notes or figuring the 3 statues out was so much fun! Of course by now I have completed the game multiple times. But the first playthrough was so magical. So much hidden in this game that first just seems to be a small farming game. But especially with 1.5 it got sooo much secrets and content.

There's actually one very rare nightly event, which is the animal attack. Straight from the wiki, it says this: "After the player goes to sleep, any events that will happen during the night (such as Bundle events) are calculated as normal. If no events are due to occur, there will be a 50% chance that the game will attempt to start a wild animal attack event. If this event proceeds, the game will go through all buildings to find a barn or coop that has their doors closed and has animals left outside. For each building, the game takes a random number between 0 and 1 and compares it to 1/(the number of total farm buildings). If the random number is larger, the building is ignored. In other words, the more buildings the player has, the less likely that one will be attacked. For example, if the player has two farm buildings, each building has a 50% chance of being attacked, three buildings would give 33%, four would give 25% chance of being attacked, etc. Once a building has been chosen, the event takes the first animal stuck outside from that building to be the target of the attack. The animal will be removed from the game and in the morning, all other animals will have a mood message saying " looks stressed and paranoid today. It seems like something bad happened last night." I've been obsessively playing sdv for the past 2 years and thought I knew everything but still learned a lot from this. Another good one is turning on advanced crafting in the settings will show how many of each resource you have remaining while on the crafting screen, super helpful.
To be completely fair, the Book of Yoba also describes him “peeling off the tough skin”. Tomatoes are pretty gooey and peeling off the skin would lead to a mess, and idk if their skin can be described as tough. It’s more likely that it’s a type of fruit that doesn’t exist in the game yet, or in fact a completely fictional one.
I remember when the Stone Owl and Strange Capsule were so rare that people genuinely didn't know whether they actually existed as events/items in the game or were unused content lol

I was so lucky that I had a meteorite fall super early.... like late spring... and it dropped directly in front of the south entrance into the woods on the four corner map. I literally had to walk all the way around if I wanted to go south for like two whole seasons 😒
I had the crop fairy show up on my playthrough and I only had one plant that I was growing. I was so happy to see it bloom that I actually wondered where the fairy was on my second playthrough and realised that apparently it's not programmed to happy every first week. Sadness. I'd planted like 50 Strawberries.

On a rainy day I think once I opened Gus's trashcan and the lid flew off! It can be worn as a hat! Description: It's a garbage can lid 'upcycled' into a hat...( I don't know if it appears on rainy days but I think if you check every day each month it will eventually turn up.
Yeah, but it doesn't have to be a rainy day; every time you check a trash can after a certain amount of trash dives (I forget the exact number of trash searches needed) there's a small percent chance for the hat to appear. Even after getting one you still have unlimited chances of getting more! Still super rare, though.

What’s crazy is no one’s noticed Yoba is just A boy backwards. Yoba is the dev, and the coding he had to jumble through was the fruit, his knowledge of it he was able to take the fruit and see the world - the world of stardew.

If you didn't know, there is a small chance that the trash can lid will fly off when you're digging through it, and you can wear it as a hat. It happened to me recently for the first time, and that's how I found out.

The strange capsule event happened to me and I searched all around my riverland farm for it. It took me 2 seasons to move my coop which was beside my barn, it was moved forward ONE block so that the barn and coop were even with eachother. I moved it and- in the one spot I COULDN’T SEE was the broken capsule, I wanted to keep it unbroken in my inventory but ig I was too late 😭

You can put Staircase into pants slot and it will turn into Lucky Gold Trimmed Purple Shorts. I have Stone Owls fall on my farm like the rain I have no idea why :) It just attracts Stone Owls for some reason. Too bad I can't sell them :)

I've been playing Stardew Valley on my own (I'm on my 2nd year), but I left aside that game and started playing with my bf on another one. We're on winter year 1 and so far we got the meteorite, the owl statue and the fairy. I was so excited when I saw them but I didn't know they were so rare 😶
Another thing about the lonely stone, if you go to the beach and fish inside of it (have your hook inside the sprite, i believe you need atleast the fiberglass rod to be able to reach it), you are guaranteed a fish of atleast silver quality!
One thing that's crazy, on my first playthrough I got the hanging wall basket twice in a row,my first time fishing in The secret Forest because I was going for the community center bundle

I remember this one week I was playing Stardew valley, each day in the game I got rare nightly things, for example, I once got two witches give me void eggs on the day after each other, then another time after that I got the meteor, after a few nights I then got the capsule.

When i got the purple shorts my plan was to keep them to get the 750 tickets but I didn't realise if you speak to him with them in your inventory not even in your hand he will take them, kinda annoying.
If your inventory is full, when you go to get the Junimo plush at noon at the end of each season, if your inventory is full, you can collect multiple junimo plushes for as long as it says 12 on the clock I managed to get six by swapping them out for trash in my inventory

If you hit either an oak tree or maple tree in fall (i can't remember which) there is a chance for a hazelnut to drop at least on mobile

The stone Junimo statue is one of my favorite easter eggs, and I get it every play through and place it somewhere random for my friends to find
On my first two save files I got the crop fairy early game. Didn't know it was that rare!
I also got the Marnie thinking it was Lewis one on my first save file early game
I had the crop fairy show up on my playthrough and I only had one plant that I was growing. I was so happy to see it bloom that I actually wondered where the fairy was on my second playthrough and realised that apparently it's not programmed to happy every first week. Sadness.
I'd planted like 50 Strawberries.
What's wrong about the strawberries? I plant about 60 every spring year 1 and water it individually
Actually the world starting with a tomato is also referred in the opening screen, because if I'm not mistaken the crop that is shown in the option to start a new farm is also a tomato

On a rainy day I think once I opened Gus's trashcan and the lid flew off! It can be worn as a hat! Description: It's a garbage can lid 'upcycled' into a hat...( I don't know if it appears on rainy days but I think if you check every day each month it will eventually turn up.

Yeah, but it doesn't have to be a rainy day; every time you check a trash can after a certain amount of trash dives (I forget the exact number of trash searches needed) there's a small percent chance for the hat to appear. Even after getting one you still have unlimited chances of getting more! Still super rare, though.

What’s crazy is no one’s noticed Yoba is just A boy backwards. Yoba is the dev, and the coding he had to jumble through was the fruit, his knowledge of it he was able to take the fruit and see the world - the world of stardew.

Only the center tile of melon cauliflower or pumpkin needs to be grown to create a giant crop. You can have a melon surrounded by melon seeds and it could turn into a giant melon
I got two stone owl events. The second one hid it in a secret path to grandpa's shrine on the forest farm. Very sneaky, I went days without finding it

I was playing yesterday when I realized that I had enough friendship with Evelyn to get in to her room. This is my first time playing the game, and I did not know about the letter from Clara... Heck, I didn't even know that Clara existed. It's been 2 years the my mom passed away... I were not ready... I cried reading the letter, and were almost not able to read to my wife...

If you didn't know, there is a small chance that the trash can lid will fly off when you're digging through it, and you can wear it as a hat. It happened to me recently for the first time, and that's how I found out.
Funny thing is it happened to me in 2 of my worlds lol. And it's pretty rare too

Other tips:
If you still got 1.5, you can just use a staircase in your pants slot to get a copy of the purple shorts
You can use the out of bounds trick to get the iridium krobus statue on spring two year one.

The strange capsule event happened to me and I searched all around my riverland farm for it. It took me 2 seasons to move my coop which was beside my barn, it was moved forward ONE block so that the barn and coop were even with eachother. I moved it and- in the one spot I COULDN’T SEE was the broken capsule, I wanted to keep it unbroken in my inventory but ig I was too late 😭

I've been playing Stardew Valley on my own (I'm on my 2nd year), but I left aside that game and started playing with my bf on another one. We're on winter year 1 and so far we got the meteorite, the owl statue and the fairy. I was so excited when I saw them but I didn't know they were so rare 😶
I got the owl statue and the alien incubator both about 3 times each. The meteorite is something I got ince a year at my first few years in game.
Another thing about the lonely stone, if you go to the beach and fish inside of it (have your hook inside the sprite, i believe you need atleast the fiberglass rod to be able to reach it), you are guaranteed a fish of atleast silver quality!
One thing that's crazy, on my first playthrough I got the hanging wall basket twice in a row,my first time fishing in The secret Forest because I was going for the community center bundle

I remember this one week I was playing Stardew valley, each day in the game I got rare nightly things, for example, I once got two witches give me void eggs on the day after each other, then another time after that I got the meteor, after a few nights I then got the capsule.

When i got the purple shorts my plan was to keep them to get the 750 tickets but I didn't realise if you speak to him with them in your inventory not even in your hand he will take them, kinda annoying.
On my very first world I got 2 meteorites and an owl statue all within a week, as well as getting the crop fairy multiple times around the same time.

If your inventory is full, when you go to get the Junimo plush at noon at the end of each season, if your inventory is full, you can collect multiple junimo plushes for as long as it says 12 on the clock I managed to get six by swapping them out for trash in my inventory
