Hi , I am curious. Fabric was strong hot pink, you add blue dye, but when you open the fabric , we see red dark blue and light yellows, what happened??? I loved the process and the result, want to use on my fabric, but don’t understand the colors, help me please
Hi, I think there is a number of reasons for this, the different colors come from how you tighten the fabric after folding it, and probably the color combinations of the fabric and the dye, I'm sure if we used a black dye or a brown dye maybe we wouldn't get the same results, we tried the black dye on the same fabric once, we did get the same results the thread was not too tight as well, see this video th-cam.com/video/1CmhqWg3BXM/w-d-xo.html We were shocked with the light yellows as well, . . .. I think the VAT dye (hot water dyes) could also be the reason, the reactive dyes/ cold water dyes would not give you the same results.

Where did the yellow come from?
It's looks that way because the blue dye has not oxidized yet eventually it would turn blue

It depends with the size of the fabric

Type of fabric matters as well, this one was a thick cotton
@@rilaandmel3842 You should show examples of other past projects of the same procedure.
