Did you pre-soak in soda ash or wash the shirt or moisten it before starting the process it looks like you just took it out of the package or unfolded it and started working on it
I have one question 🙋🏻♀️ Are you using hot water in containers? I did few projects on rit dye they says use hot boiling water but i want to use different colors. Im little confused pls explain to me how you mix your dye. And what temperature of water is good for strong color.
Sodium silicate is an inorganic sodium salt which has silicate as the counterion. It is also called Sodium metasilicate or Waterglass. Most tie dyers use soda ash to soak the material before dyeing to make the dye permanent in the material or cloth.
How incredibly beautiful!!! This would make beautiful fabric for unique quilts also. I've searched forever seems like for the right fabric for one of my granddaughters and I think I just found it. Thanks for the inspiration.
