14:07 I would've bought that decommissioned World of Warcraft server so fast lol. I wonder how much they wanted for it since I know can go for a lot. It's a nice piece of history for MMO's.
Last time I did a road trip through CO. We filled the tank three times. Garden of the Gods…red rocks…suspension bridge …great trip! The radio kicked in long enough to hear Colorado Rocky Mountain high Johnny D. 🥰thanks for what you do. @@Klesh I posted about this as well. I'd be interested in having it as a collector for the right price. But if you score it for $50 or less you should sell it for a decent profit.
@8:16 I had four of those plated candlestick holders and they yielded $22 each in silver when I sold them. They were filled with sand. Awesome video Shane!
I’ve been showing my dad your yard sale videos (he’s been going to them since he was 17, he’s 65 now) and it’s amazing what you find out there. I don’t have the eye or tastes as my parents do but when I do go out with them, I do find items that I can flip to make a profit and the buyer gets a really good deal as we try to give them room to make a profit as well. Definitely a modern day treasure hunt!
You always keep a smile on my face. Love your garage/estate sales. So much fun. I'm kind of over the paydirt videos. Watched too many of them in the past. Hope all is well with you, Klesh. Great to see you again. 🤗🤗⭐⭐
19:55 I believe that to be jewelry solder. The temperature scale of jewelry solder is Hard, Medium, Easy, Extra Easy and that says "Easy" on it. It could still have a silver content though. Either way, that chunk if it is solder is about $20 worth of solder.
Great finds, It's amazing what you'll find out there. I've bought sterling silver plates the size of a soap dish. Also picked up some Hot Wheels from the late 60's - 70's. Those were worth good money.
FOUND YOUR Channel today and went back and sped though you journey for 12 years. You seem like a real dude a nice guy i will support your channel by liking when i can. I a 59 and live in vancouver b,c a nd am a placer ffrom 2ay back
Bell telephone company is also over here in North Carolina. They used to be called Bell South and was bigger back in the day. Didn't know they were out that way also.
My wife and I were just in Fairplay last week. We ran into some panners out at the river. They asked me if I was YOU. I said no, but I grabbed my signed KLESH pan that was sitting right next to me and we all laughed and had a cool bonding moment. Toked a bowl in your honor, pal! Wish you were there. Lol! 😉👍
Me an my son went to yardsales today, the last one, the guy was giving away the last of his stuff, we got several things we could use ,then he had a home Sony stereo reciever and a old reel to reel player, recorder, we took those 2 items straight to the pawn shop and sold them for $500 ,love those kinda days ,hopefully tomorrow will profit also
most of the silver plated candlesticks, platters, dinnerware etc are brass or copper. sometimes they have decorative filigree and handles, most of that is cast aluminum. at the scrapyard where i work im the guy that processes all that stuff that comes in so i have gone through lots of that stuff. the copper stuff goes for #2 copper and the brass goes as yellow brass, at least thats what our yard grades it as. some nice finds
Oooo! That World of Warcraft thing you saw was likely an original server from the game's launch back in 2004. How much did they want for it? Those are kind of hard to come by.
Haha cool stuff Shane. I'm glad I asked for one of these video's. I was curious what's up "in the field". I used to make a bit of spare change and get some metal for refining/remelt. Good to know it's still out there if you want to chase it.
Wow brother I live in West Central Montana up on the Flathead Indian reservation and don't do much yard selling but God dang that looks fun keep it up cuz I love these videos
@@Klesh You know they’ll probably do another sale, wouldn’t hurt to check. By the way, love the treasure chests. I have several, broken hinges and all.
Hi Klesh, What do you pack when you go overseas? I am a hobbyist about to move. I was wondering if you could suggest what tools to take with me for the trip like pan, clothing, chisel, etc. Do you buy when you get to the place or do ypu bring the tools with you? love from Toronto Canada ❤
I like to bring my equinox 800 metal detector because it's so versatile I could use it in the ocean on land anywhere. I also usually buy a shovel once I get there. As far as clothing goes, when I go overseas I always buy like a six pack of T-shirts and then just throw them away instead of Holding onto dirty clothes. Same thing with socks and underwear. I usually only bring two pairs of pants, one pair being jogging pants for the airplane ride and for sleeping. I like to pack very lightly though, you may or may not need more than that.
Is there any way I can buy the chain from the cross on the left? I have been looking for a chain like that and haven’t been able to fine one!!!! Please I’ll pay good money!
Great video! Only thing is i got dizzy watching it with your camera moving around so swiftly. Not sure if theres a way to make that a little better. I watched all the way thru tho! Cool finds! 👍 thank you
I know whenever we have a garage sale… a lot of the older folks start lining up 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time. Mostly looking for cheaply priced antiques, I guess?
I'm a jeweller and seeing easy written on a thin sheet like that tells me it's Easy silver solder not silver. And since he was a jeweller....yeah it's got silver in it but it looks like it's just a sheet of solder. That candlestick....copper doesn't have that look unless it's mixed with silver. It may not be sterling but could very well be a silver copper amalgam that consists of less than 925 silver. Also if it was melted down scrap 925 silver jewellery originally for example, when melted down they may have not added any fine silver to bring the silver content back up to 925 parts in a thousand. It drops in content because of all the silver solder. Hard, Medium and Easy silver solder all have different recipes and can all be used on the one piece of jewellery throughout its stages of construction.
All I could think at 8:00 was Clue - "it was Klesh, in the Living Room, with the candle stick". Other than my daft humor, this was a great video!

i like trains, and gold was commonly transported on trains, thus i would like a bag of paydirt so i can have a model train running some gold around.
22 minutes and 56 seconds of pure gold!
14:16 Server blade for the game world of warcraft kinda shocked thats up for sale in a yard sale thats like $400 on the low end of value
