Katherine, we just came from the Richmond Symphony performance tonight! You were marvelous! My wife and I enjoyed the concerto immensely! I think the second movement is especially beautiful and you are a phenomenal musician! This piece deserves a place in the repertoire!

Beautifully done, such expressive playing! Some evocative folk-like flavor in the musical language. Also lovely touches in the filming and editing, for instance when the pianist is "cloned" at 20:20 to play a countermelody! OH -- just noticing Katherine is playing both oboe and piano! Wow!!

Heard you last night. Absolutely spectacular performance. Some of the best oboe playing I’ve heard in a long time. Wonderful technique, tone color, articulation. Only problem it made me want to come home and throw my Yamahas in the fire pit. Thanks so much for coming back to Richmond to perform this interesting composition. Hope to see you back in the future.
