I'm having a problem with my coach because he picks specific players just because he has a friendly relationship with their parents. So he picks these players that are out of position and he doesn't give me a chance. What should I do? Please answer
@@theunderdawgvlog9615 I haven't talked to the coach yet but I will try and show him I'm the man for the job. I'm just frustrated because I had earned some trials with big youth teams in my country and if he benches me he will stop my development
I’m having a problem with a coach choosing players who are new to the sport, but are older. Over people like me who have played for a while and know how to play all the positions.
I’m a sophomore who can set, receive, and spike. But my coach wants to choose seniors or Juniors at higher positions even if they are new to volleyball.
I'm having a issue where the coaches are playing kids that are the siblings or related to kids they coached before. They won't even let my son try out for a position at all. What should I do to help him overcome it?
Depending on the age of your son, I would suggest he go to the coach himself and ask for an opportunity at the desired position and see where that goes. Other option is you going to the coach and asking. But assuming favoritism without at minimum asking for an explanation doesn’t get results.

So grid kids start the coach wants him only to be blocking TE. When i asked why isnt he given an opportunity at Wr, playing TE is fine but whats up? Coach said he didn think he can do it and had other kids in mind. Mind you we barely 2 weeks in. I said we just started how do u already have set starters?
As a freshman and sophomore I didn’t get a whole lot of playing time, but I really improved along the way and was able go toe to toe with any of our top players. My junior year I had high expectations, but coach still rarely put me in, so I went to talk with him one on one. In a nutshell, he basically told me he was aware of my improvements and accomplishments, but still wouldn’t play me if he didn’t want to. I feel like I’ve done everything I can and I’m still on the bench. I’m kind of in a pickle here guys please help! 😑

How do you know it's because of the parents? Have you asked or talked with the coach about what you can do to get more playing time?

What about a coach that NEVER let you up at batting practice and told you if you mention it again your off the team
