Many noses enjoy and appreciate the experiences later as the months go by of certsin flagship flankers. Many didn't think the newer dior homme 2020 was that hood until they continued to experience it more with wear. I'm quite sure Jelk knows that people like me are stuck on HR edt and are spoiled. 😊. Of course Guerlain will do Heritage and L'instant parfum later. Vetiver is easier to create.

Outstanding reviews from an outstanding reviewer. HR is my signature, EDT and EDP for years. EDT still the holy grail. Privé was excellent nonetheless. Do you think layering Prive with Parfum would reduce the praline thickness and bring a bit more sharpness to the scent? Keep up the great work!

I don’t really ‘layer’ very often, but I guess you could try your idea and see what effect it produces.

Agree entirely with the observation of Guerlain releasing far too many fragrances. On another topic, will you be reviewing “Ripley” on your Substack? Very well done.

Habit Rouge EdT all the way! Would love a parfum version of L'Instant and can't wait to try the Vetiver (sprays the EdT in anticipation)

Hello, I never had any Habit Rouge. I only had the Vetiver EDT which I love. I bought the Lhomme Ideal Parfum which is fantastic for me since I don’t own the other versions. When I was testing the others and after watching this video.. I tried Habit Rouge EDT and the Parfum. I like the EDT but I love the Parfum. I do plan to buy the EDT soon since I really like it too. The Parfum version does smell different but is interesting and has a beautiful scent. Thank you for your reviews!

I dont think the mention of any note kills my interest in a scent quicker than 'praline'. Loved the video ....very interested in these releases and now definitely want to seek out the vetiver to try

Oh I have to try the Guerlain Vetiver Parfum! My favourite Vetiver scent is Oriza L Legrand Vetiver Royal Bourbon. Not sure if that Brand has been reviewed on this channel?

Thank you for your upload. It's always comforting to hear someone feel the same energy from a fragrance as one's self. I was really rather pleasantly surprised by this and I am pleased it's in the collection. It will get a lot of wear throughout spring and a summers evening. I purchased Daniel Josier Vetiver recently and loved it. Was hoping the Guerlain purchase wouldn't render it redundant. I am happy to report it hasn't.

dry down of Vetiver Parfume for my association network works rather like a male version of no. 19 EDP. The opening is very different but after 10-20 minutes I see some resemblance
Interesting. There's definitely a substantial dose of vetiver in No. 19.
At Guerlain they are in lack of inspirations lately! They don't dare to release a new male fragrance at last not a new flanker of their oldies! What's next the elixir version of their classics? A very boring trend 👎 great review 👌 👌and I agree with you the best among the three the vetyver is the best! Why don't they bring back Derby on the shelves once again? ❤🤔
Their last masculine 'pillar' was L'Homme Ideal -- I don't expect we'll see a new one for quite some time.

Héritage has a parfum square flanker too. It is a fantastic fragrance that reminds me of Le Lion but much more reserved and no smoke.
As far as I’m aware, Heritage is available only as an edt and an edp.

I guess a parfum concentration of Héritage would require more orris and oakmoss. One is too expensive and the other is way too regulated. Either way I think your review was superb and always makes me want to buy more from Guerlain!

If you want a gourmand-esque HR, then yes, get the parfum.
Habit Rouge is just way way way too heavy. And sickly sweet. Does that mean it’s “modern”? Not a chance. But great review as always.

I've seen this title "the video that broke the internet" used often and I find it somehow funny, even though it sounds somewhat pompous in the way it is usually used 😅 There's just something je ne sais quoi about this claim. But today I mean it in a positive way when I apply it to your video.
On a different note, have you had the chance to smell the fragrances from ORMAIE? How do you find them? I've recently bought Le Passant and I'm smelling 28°right at this very moment.

Vetiver Parfum is great. A bit funky off the skin, but absolutely heavenly in the air. Just can't get enough of it.
