    The Extended Cut is a lot better than the original cut.
    It contains a 6 minute opening scene that has the T.Rex being chased by a helicopter right into a drive in movie.
    The helicopter loses track of the Rex, but the pilot tells his friends, "Relax, guys, she can't run forever."

    I think in the scene after beta was taken, when blue was barking at owen n claire. Blue was telling owen what happened and asking owen to find her. Of course because she's a raptor, we can't understand them, but that's why blue went there, instead of just chasing the theifs.

    The dinosaur with the super long claws on it's hands is a Therizinosaurus.
    The red feathered dinosaur is a Pyroraptor. Which is actually what it most likely looked like, since dinosaurs like Pyroraptor likely had feathers. As we found quill knobs on Velociraptor fossils, which in modern birds (which are dinosaurs themselves) is where feathers attach to their wings. :D

      Eh, it’s close-ish to what Pyroraptor may have looked like, but there’s still an insane amount of liberties taken in the design. For instance, it wasn’t nearly that big.

    Dodgson is the character (though different actor) that worked for the company he now leads in the first Jurassic Park movie - the rival of ingen. He is the character that meets Nedry and gives him the cool storage disguised as a shaving foam bottle. It's because of him and that company that the events of the first movie really happened. You see the shaving foam at 25.29 of your reaction, so it was obviously recovered at some point.
    You might remember him as coming to the meeting with a hat and glasses, asking Nedry not to use his name, and Nedry responded "Dodgson! It's Dodgson everyone! See? No one cares!"
    I genuinely missed this the first time I watched this movie, so I hope you don't mind me pointing it out. Great reaction! 😊

    FYI, Giganotosaurus is a real life dinosaur found in South America. Bigger than T-Rex. It's name means "Giant Southern Lizard"
    It's a bit of a disappointment that they didn't make him more of a menacing Dinosaur like the indominus Rex. To show why he is the Apex Predator He's never eat not 1 person.

    My reaction to this movie is very mixed. As a film, it was a confused mess of too many characters and too many plots. The most laughable part was probably the Jason Bourne rooftop chase with Claire and the raptor (although I did love how she clotheslined it to finally escape). On the other hand, as a wrap-up to the Jurassic Park universe, it was fabulous! We got a reunion of all of the major characters. We saw Owen, Claire, and Maisie as a family, and Maisie finally learned the truth of her origins. Ian got to call the evil villain a "rapacious rat bastard", the most Ian-esque insult ever! And, of course, Ellie and Alan *finally* got together! I also loved the vignettes that showed dinosaurs in our modern habitat: pterosaurs nesting on skyscrapers, horses and parasaurolophuses running in a herd, a brachiosaurus eating needles from a giant redwood, and styracosauruses migrating with elephants. Amazing images, all! Thanks for your Jurassic reactions, Addie!

    Yahoo! I was kinda hoping that you'd check out the extended version because it kinda shows a little more of the dinosaurs from the past and not referring to the first Jurassic Park film type of past. Nevertheless, I still think it was enjoyable! It was so good seeing the original characters back again! Fun Fact: at 30:23 the other two T-Rexes at the end are the same Mama and Papa T-Rexes from the second Jurassic Park Film, The Lost World: Jurassic Park! Additionally, from what I've heard, the female T-Rex and our main T-Rex are technically sisters! So in a way, we see a mini sister reunion for the T-Rexes! The baby, Chomper as I like to call him, is all grown up and I would like to think he's still alive somewhere on this Jurassic World! I'm glad you enjoyed this movie, Addie! :D

    • @SomethingNowhereMan
      @SomethingNowhereMan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@markieman64 From what I've heard, the Bull (the actual name of the T-Rex according to fans) in the third film isn't the same baby T-Rex in Lost World. I still like to believe Chomper is still around somewhere either on the mainland or in Isla Sorna.

    • @markieman64
      @markieman64 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SomethingNowhereMan Lol. Fair enough. At the end of the day, "Chomper" isn't real, so it is all theory this, guessing that either way. After saying that, I did search for it to see if it's been confirmed, but it's one of those things the fandom are very "passionate" about one way or the other. Anyways, not at all suggesting that's what you were doing, but sometimes, I think Chandler from Friends explaining why he doesn't get upset when Bambi's mum died is the right way to look at it. I enjoyed your reaction to this more than I enjoyed it myself.
    When I saw it myself, I felt that the dinosaurs were an afterthought… which is disappointing considering it’s a Jurassic movie. One of my friends said the same thing.
    Fallen Kingdom had set up a whole world (pun intended) of possibilities, but Dominion seemed to tell a completely different story within the same universe.
    We got new dinosaurs, but nothing was said or done to really highlight them. If you didn’t know what those dinosaurs were before the movie, you could only name 1 of them after - Giganotasaurus (“the largest carnivore the world has ever seen”) - which is why I say it felt like they were an afterthought. The other movies tell us the names of 95% of the dinosaurs and a little bit about them, making them actually feel like a part of it, instead of “look at that… aaaaand it’s gone”.
    I know there is an extended version which from what I’ve heard has more scenes with the star attractions, maybe that will sway me a little bit.
    But at least you enjoyed it… there is talk of spin-off Jurassic movies being planned, so it appears it may not be the end as far as Jurassic movie reactions go 😀

    I didn't like fallen kingdom because of the main villain dino. To me it doesn't make sense. So if it's a hybrid of the indominus and a velociraptor but it the indominus is a t Rex and raptor hybrid, wouldn't it just make the indoraptor just some really big raptor. Also Dominion pointed out how stupid that idea is because why not just breed dinos and train them from birth to be weapons. Also they had dino DNA from the jurassic world to use so if dinos dying on the island were that big why not just grab some of the older ones (rexy and the brachiosaurus from JP1) and blue and then just make more dinos

    Just so you know Addie the Giganotosaurus named Zeb is not really a villain in this movie because it didn't do anything evil or mind-blowing except for making you think that Rexy is dead

    • @elishawilson5342
      @elishawilson5342 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Technically only the spino can be considered a villain when you think about the dinosaur are just being the natural animals that they are so they're not evil they're just animals acting within their nature

    I grew up with the Jurassic movies and I like all of them except this one this one pissed me off because it wasted the ending fallen kingdom set up and didn’t focus on dinosaurs being a threat and barely anyone died

    Beside hearing slight snarky remarks from critics and other reactors, I knew I still wanted to see this movie.
    I've been waiting for one reactor to watch this. I had a feeling that someone would watch this without being influenced by "what others have said"
    You consistently have an open approach to movies you are about to see.
    4:02 ... when Maisie provides an idea to help to get the dinosaurs out of the way we hear the first notes of the familiar theme. Then it hits, this is the last movie it'll be played. Got a little choked up.
    We had a good introduction of new species for this final movie. My favorite were the Atrociraptors. Those beefed up Raptors were wicked!
    I like how we had two flashbacks from the original.
    Ellie reunites with a baby Trike!(triceratops) and then the bad guy being finished off by a Dilophosaurus. Another connection with that last dinosaur is when Dodgson had the shaving cream container of the embryos.
    Finally, as you said, decades in the making (waiting) to see Ellie and Alan together at last.
    Great video, Addie!
    Can't wait to see what you have coming soon.
    You probably have December already filled with what you're planning to see. If there's a chance you're looking for options for Christmas movies, I hope you think about watching Klaus. Loved it immediately!!

    21:23 that thing is technically not a dinosaur. That thing is a Dimetrodon mid Permian period, before the dinosaurs and believe it or not it's more related to mammals then reptiles.

    Mission accomplished, Addie. You deserve a round of applause for officially completing your reaction to the ENTIRE Jurassic franchise. 👏👏 Nice reaction, BTW. Jurassic World Dominion is an epic conclusion to the Jurassic franchise. I also enjoyed this movie as well. They brought back the OG trio from the first JP and the Univisium 2:1 aspect ratio of the first JW movie. I also liked how they navigated through filming this movie during the pandemic. My girlfriend & I saw it in IMAX and she liked it fine, though she felt it wasn't as good as the previous movies, but she still had a good time seeing it with me, regardless. There's also an extended version of the film, hopefully you'll check out that one. It adds back 14 minutes of more action, more dinosaurs, and has an alternate opening as well.

      BTW, my favorite moment from all of your Jurassic Park/Jurassic World movie reactions was when your partner grabbed your shoulder, giving you a jump-scare near the end of your reaction to Jurassic Park (1993).

    If you didn’t know Addie dinosaurs are more related to birds than they are to reptiles so that’s why they’re feathered. And actually birds are actually modern dinosaurs.

    Most Raptors had feathers, so Phoenix-looking Pyroraptor was quite accurate. The Therizinosaurus (the one with long claws) was also a real creature.

      We can't say that, that's a rather controversial issue.

    • @ChrissonatorOFL
      @ChrissonatorOFL ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Xenosaurian What is? We've found evidence for feathers on many theropod dinosaurs, and so it stands to reason that many related species had them as well.

    • @Xenosaurian
      @Xenosaurian ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ChrissonatorOFL First off, you're assuming dinosaurs are all related, which is arguably not true. Second, yes, we could argue that feathers are found on multiple species of dinosaurs (especially if we include birds, but lets not for the sake of discussion), but when it comes to individual cases and claims such as with the claim that "most raptors had feathers" or that "Pyroraptor had feathers" because most raptors haven't been found with any evidence of feathers, and none have been found on Pyroraptor either. Sure, if we assume that the apparent traces of feathers on other similar species are truly feathers and that they may be related then it's fair to assume that these other species may have been feathered as well, although it's also possible they may not have been feathered, just as some elephants are covered in woolly coats while others aren't.

    Not the worst Jurassic Park movie, but not my favorite either. I like seeing the old cast, but I felt like the story was just so generic with very little in meaningful twists or surprises. It was very paint by numbers, albeit with some good action scenes and visuals.

    To me, it was the perfect ending to the saga. Jurassic Park is still my number one favorite, this will be my third underneath Jurassic World. Now my only critique was that the last scene should’ve been of the T-Rex. Other than that, I enjoyed it completely. 🦖🦕🧡
