Your right if you can just make everything pretty much paid for and have some left over for your holiday or something your winning. I have day targets and ones there achieved in the van and home. But £150 per day isn't bad if you have taken out all your cost and tax. I'm after a Red Bull sponsorship but can't do backflips holding a WFP so will have to keep buying it. 😂
I look at it this way, the only job I’m really going to end up in if I wasn’t doing this is a minimum wage factory job, if I can earn more than that doing this, nothing else really matters! Red Bull sponsorship would be sweeeeeeet 🤣💪🏻
@CrystalClearRevs You can't look at it like that. Your a business owner. You also will not be paid if you have a call back so need to be on more than most. Overhead need to be covered. I charge more than most and its taken me longer to build my customer base but now I have a clients that are happy to pay for my high quality service.
@CrystalClearRevs what would be a good hourly rate for this job? Looking to work on behalf of business as employee. What would be fair rate u think? Before I do money talk? Thanks:)
Gutters are an interesting one. I always try and say do you want your gutters emptied or the exterior of the gutters, soffits and fascias cleaned or both and offer a discounted price for both jobs on same day.
I did specifically say when quoting ‘it will be x amount to clean the gutters out’ and he agreed with the price, I think he was hoping I’d add in a freebie 😆
@@crystalclearrevs People hear what they want to hear - 'clean the gutters out' is easy for a customer to 'misinterpret' as empty the gutters and clean them including any white upvc round them 🙂

Hi bud what size is that tank. It looks like the one I've ordered from cleaning warehouse.
500L mate, it’ll be the same one you’ve ordered buddy 🤙🏻

I do the same. I even add hand gestures to make the difference between clearing and cleaning painfully obvious.
