Could you use a soft copper wire wheel or abrasive plastic wheel in a drill to get the worst off and then pressure wash it?

If you ptfe the turbo and tightened it you might need a new quick connect fitting for the end of the lance dude

You did a fairly decent job , for free. I'd advise you to go look at Flawless Cleaning videos, to see how it's done to perfection. Moving pot plants and cleaning the walls etc. Good on you 👏👏👏👏

Surface cleaner for the main area and the. turbo. for the edges. .... Surface cleaner would be quicker mate that is not terribly soiled. just green algie. etc from being in the shade.. MY tip think about getting the kranzle round cleaner... No real need for a turbo nozzle . many would have possibly soft washed that. It all depends on the the customers expectations and wants.... A turbo nozzle is more intense and a flat surface cleaner. even with a fair flow of even just 18,9,10 lieters a minute. with 1600 psi will work very. well. with a. smallish. surface cleaner..... A large or wide. surface cleaner will need. much more flow and pressure. So this is why i recommend the Kranzle. round cleaner it is a very efficient beast even though it being. not that wide. but gets the job done very well indeed.... Or even think about getting the kranzle 10 / 122. TS ---- low noise and. small and compact and automatic shut off . You probably already know these things any way. You are a good worker and i bet the customers. value. you.

Think you could have done with a Flat surface cleaner. Little bit of black spot but colour come up grate and looks loads brighter. 👍🏼🤜🏼

I think you need some ptfe on the quick release on the turbo to stop it spraying at your feet. There was a lot of blackspot there! The slabs came up well considering their age.

I've come across extra bit of gutters in gutters. Probably to try and stop a area leaking. Instead of just replacing a seal 🙈

It is feasible the gutter has been put there upside down to prevent stuff falling into that downpipe, but I suspect it's just left over from when it was built. Lazy workman not wanting to clear up after himself.

How do you price up a gutter clean do you count the clips and charge whatever for so many clips and do you charge extra if the customer isn’t at home or doesn’t have a outside power source so you have to use your generator.

Spend 10 years working in a factory, and pull on those memories of 75 year old forklift drivers and bellend bosses who don’t even notice your efforts. It’s my main motivation for setting out window cleaning again. Also Iv got some 10 year goals. Financial ones and lifestyle ones business ones and early retirement ones. 40 Years old as I’m starting this time around.

Mate starting a traditional round is so simple and so cheap. Highly reccomend it to anyone. Money is great once u got the work. I started off buying a small round for £500 and now its massive. So much work out there. I turn down work all the time these days.

Mate sounds so similar to me. Left school with fuck all went into mma coaching realised there’s fuck all in it became a self taught tech/ mechanic for cars couple years later after bouncing job to job got into window cleaning and just went for it. 4 months in now loving every bit of it 😁

Personal opinion. I find Fan Jets more time efficient as it covers a wider area than pencil jets. Also requires less water 😁

Sometimes that's all it takes, a good old talk . A problem shared is a problem halved and all that. I know I'm a little late to the party on this one but ....... Probably shouldn't have used petrol to remove the residue as it is too harsh for the paint, a good tar and glue remover would have been better. A good machine polish will sort it out, or even a good old "t-cut" by hand. Don't forget a decent wax afterwards to protect it of the paint will fade again like nobodies business! Either way, it looks a metric shit tonne better than before you started.

Property letting companies can be good for 1 off jobs like gutter clearing.

It costs nothing to be in touch with an estate agent so you really have nothing to lose. Not an avenue I had ever considered before to be fair.

You might get away with 1or 2 passes in the winter, but let's see you get snail trails, insect marks off come the summer with that strategy1🤔

Only thing I found with the bigger brushes you feel the weight on the top end especially on awkward windows. Don’t know about yourself but high pressure fan jets made me get through work quicker and now I’m using a xline rinse bar at about 50psi and I’m flying through work

Bigger brush definitely speeds things up. As you say planning the order you clean the windows helps quite a bit as does hose management/routing. Have a great weekend.
