Can you explain how color affects random race distribution? I'm really interested in that, I'm so sad Flash isn't still playing random, that was the best thing to happen to ASL in awhile.
The best part of this was the banter at the end. On a side note, the audio was really great this time. Both Artosis and Tasteless were well audible over the game sound without being too loud. I hope they'll keep it like this.

If this was pro wrestling Mini's teammate would be distracting the ref while Mini sneaks up behind Best and brains him with a folding chair. That heel expression on his face at the end was unintentionally brilliant.
Spoiler ahead In the second game, I wish Tastosis highlighted Mini's foresight to create two pylons at the top of the map and the probe at 1oclock. On top of that, he also kept his mineral count high throughout the fight for scarabs + extra buildings. Mini knew well in advanced that this could turn into a base trade game, and the two pylons buy him a lot of time.
I knew the results (Not who won, But the map score) by the VOD length alone. Maybe they should start adding extra time at the end of the videos to avoid this happening. To help fans avoid this issue.
@@mattiasastrom8419 I completely agree. After game 1 I knew everything but the builds. So I lost most of my interest. Which sucks because all they need is a black screen for awhile after the show end. They don’t need to fill that time with content.
I might be wrong, but I believe they can't because of the TH-cam algorithms? If you had each match as three hours and had two hours of blank space no one watched, then the monetization would be less. At least, that's what I vaguely remember someone saying once. Could be wrong though! :)
@@darthtater6457 Your kinda right. It’s not directly about monetization but optimization of how the videos show up in peoples feeds though. If so much of a video isn’t ‘watched’ - IE, people leave halfway through because the rest is filler, then the back end algorithm is less likely to show videos like that to the same and other people. It ‘shows that people are uninterested in the full content’ and will instead show different content that is being fully viewed. Where that then ties into monetization is if your videos arn’t being shows to people, your getting less views, and etc etc.
Pretty much the worst series I've ever seen in any season of ASL. Can't really blame someone for cheesing when it turns out to be this effective, but it sure didn't make for a very interesting watch. What a waste.
@@corpus1 Bisu vrs Snow was also a short ass whipping. I guess SLIGHTLY more of a fight by Bisu. In general, PvP and ZvZ gets one sided very quick. I think Best put up a much better fight against Snow last season but still lost... unless it was another protoss, but I think I remember it was Best.
@@corpus1 Hard disagree for me, this was much more interesting than a lot of the ro24 matches. First game was very exciting with the somewhat unorthodox cheese right out of the gate that was nonetheless executed perfectly, second game had the perfectly mirrored builds and perfectly mirrored army comps (fairly strange ones at that!), running past each other and hitting each others bases, the reaver play.. hoo boy :D Third game was just standard cheese, and it was easy to figure out that Best was doomed, but it still had its high moments. The match was short and sweet fmpov, and the dorky interview segments and Tastosis commentary make it even better. TY guys for delivering this tourney to us in all its glory

I've always watched StarCraft with the volume on very low and Closed Captions, lately the videos have been missing them but boy am I hyped to see when they're available! (At this point I can tell if Tastosis is casting just by the CC's haha)

Oh man, this is hard to watch. I am color blind and I can't see the difference between the units on the first two games. (and maybe some of the later one.) I understand tastosis does not control it.

Im so glad they dont do what TotalBiscuit did and make videos extra 30-60 minutes long so we cant know when match is gonna be a 3-0. Not an idea worth considering for sure!

The double pylon gateway block was really just the cherry on top of this beating.

2 a year isn't really that bad considering it takes them 2 months per tourney. That's about the length of football season in America.
