I just got this game and read the rules and then came to your video for clarification to make sure I was understanding it correctly. Thank you for being the bestest!
Thanks a lot for the review. Really enjoyed it. One question regarding scoring “performers”. You showed you would have scored 38 for them. Could you please elaborate? I don’t understand how to count / sum up based on your example. Many thanks!
Absolutely! Needed to take a minute to recollect my memory and check the rulebook. You’ll first “ score each of the two performer sets based on how many boxes you marked in that row” Here we filled out an entire row to get 25 and the second row has four so 6 points. The additional seven points come from the bonus points in the performer track below.
Wow. Instant reply. Thanks a lot! My mistake was to take the first row 1 to 8) as scoring for the first row of performers and the second row (0 to 25) as scoring for the second row of performers. 😅
Thanks for the video! Definitely see a mesh of mechanisms from other definitive roll-and-writes; including from previous Pinchback-Riddle creations dice drafting, Seven Bridges' and Let's Make a Bus Route path creation, and Rolling America's max-one-offset number adjacency. :)
There’s definitely similarities that you’ve brought up, what I will say is this one has some of the most seamless gameplay out of all the four. I’m a huge fan!
Great overview! Thank you for the video! Scoring the Performers is confusing to me though... I came up with 21 points for your example - 8 on the top row, 6 for the bottom row (since 4 performer boxes were shaded on the bottom row) and then 7 bonus points for the bonus Performance Track points. You scored 38 points. Anyway, thanks again!
Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it. For eight on the top you’ll score 25 points, then 6 for the 4 and finally 7 for the bottom row as you mentioned. 38 is the final score. The difference appears to be 21 v 25.
This is a great overview of the game. I did have one question regarding the 'second line' action given by the socialize die. The rulebook says that when you take this action, everyone will join you in mapping the second line based on the direction you choose and score new buildings it touches. I was wondering how it is used in final scoring as a tiebreaker if everyone crosses off the same things? I have yet to play the game but when reading the rules I just did not understand how that works when we are all drawing and marking the same second line.
As the dice you’re choosing won’t go in the same building, players will score differing amount of buildings as the Second Line only scores for buildings with numbers.
What's a block, for the second line? I'm so confused what a block is. Also, do the fluer de lis on the dice do anything or are they just decorative for the number one on the dice? Mines different from yours it has fluer de lis instead of the number one.
A block is a square of the city I believe, so every path towards an intersection if that makes sense? The fleur de lis is just a one pip if memory serves correct! Hope you’re enjoying the game.
how do you feel this game compares to Fleet the Dice Game? I love your energy when you explain games. I like Three Sisters but FTD is still my favorite.
Funny you ask, we’ll be doing a comparison video of all shortly here, hoping to release next week. We’re not finished filming yet so if you have specific questions for a comparison we’re happy to include them. I’m so conflicted on choosing which one I love most they all certainly have their strengths, hoping to play them all consecutively and see which one feels the best 🥰
Have questions about the game? We'd be happy to help! Let us know.

@@ca8gmxnet Easy mistake to make, some folks count sets as two as well, which is another common one I saw! Hope you’re enjoying the game :)

OMG. LOL! That makes complete sense!!! Thank you!@@kovray
This looks great! I get a little GAH from it...probably the dice drafting. Like the art direction as well. Ps. I need that citrus shirt!
Looks super cute and crunchy !
It’s such a joy!
This looks like my type of game! Thanks for the video!
Thanks so much for watching friend! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you get to play ❤️

VERY excited for this one!
It's BRILLIANT.

If it's every intersection wouldn't that only cover at most two buildings? The lines in the rulebook and your video make them look longer at times.
@@Amy-wg5dh let me review my copy and video after work! Sorry replying from memory.
Also what are windows???
You're fine thank you
