I was never afraid to trade up guitars. When I was 21 I opened a little guitar store and ran it for 45 years. I’ve owned a couple of the holy grail 59’ Les Paul sunbursts, was a Fender and Gibson dealer, and, yes, that’s how it happens.

Matt, Mike I had 2 cars I missed on . First was a 1936 8 cylinder Packard Dual Cowl Sports Phaeton (1 of 2 in 36) it was my fathers he brought returning from WWII. And sold it when called bay for Korea. (I was 4-5 & remember it)
The second was a 1937 Cord Custom Berline I found in Fallbrook Ca when I was in High school. It was gone when I returned from Vietnam

I want to thank Dan for selling me a viking hubcap a couple years ago. After losing my brother I also lost the bug to collecting that spacific cap but out of nowhere I get a dm on Instagram offering that one cap again I just saw it as a sign.

My dad's buddy had a '41 Caddy convertible, original drive train. I was about 5 and watched my dad put a clutch in it. His son's had not interest in the cars. You're lucky your's do. Have fun.

I knew a guy in Michigan had over 100 1959 Cadilacs in various conditions that past away. There was an auction that sold most of them.

Matt another question you could add is how one's better half feels about the Iron Trap and if they are involved in it. Dan did touch on it about his son's but it might be interesting to see what the wife thinks. Thanks for the content, very cool.

Obsession. I'm like that with music / collecting records. My oldest dates back over 100 years. But they're much easier to store and manage. As for project cars, I've two: my 57 Pontiac Catalina 𝕭𝖔𝖌𝖌𝖘' 𝕸𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗 4dr hardtop and a 53 Packard 2 door hardtop project that I've dubbed the Hackard Roadster. And that's all I need.

I have a 1959 Coupe de Ville that I’m trying to get going. I’d like to get around a 3.73 ratio for the rearend, but are parts available to make that happen with the stock housing?
