Actually these pitches are 1-2 hours long which is condensed to 10 mins clips. So we might not have seen the full video of how the presenter was behaving.

Although he didn't get a deal here, the company is still growing like crazy. In 2019 they did just $150k, 2020 (when this aired) was projected to be $1.2 Million, and in 2021 they did $10 Million.
Vegen and healthy stuff will always be good business offcourse the taste factor is the differentiater.
Sharks knew this product was a hit in fact it was too good for them they couldn't contribute anything, the team he already had was better.

He crushed it, they started out thinking he was so lame with his outfit and presentation, but he just powered through and didn’t bat an eye and had all of their respect pretty quickly.
They didn't even get to know how much it costs him and how much he sells them😂😂
These deals are 1-2 hour long pitches which is condensed down to 10-12 mins. So, it's the editor's fault to not include that info
They always ask that, a 3 hour pitch is cut down to 10 minutes
@@DOC_951 not 3 hours…most are between 40 and 90 minutes but they can go up to 2 hours - not really above that
@Anthony yeah I honestly don't think in today's world anyone has information that needs over 90mins to explain about their business, unless there is a lot of investigation and legitimacy checks to be carried out after the initial pitch... then I can understand the delay.

Any company that makes dairy free cheese flavored stuff to me is HEROIC. Lactose intolerance is no fuggin joke and literally everything has dairy in it. Breads, chips, candies, seasonings, etc.

Except he didn't give them a reason to be there, and he has many major investors, so he doesn't really need them anyway. Sharks don't want to be diluted in rounds, then they aren't really making money.

There’s a lot going on here but at the end of the day, he had a ridiculously high valuation and wouldn’t come down.
Not cool saying “it’s heart breaking” and “that’s sad to hear” when the sharks are out. Keep that to yourself.

An honest question; what's the evaluation have anything to do with it? Seriously, if the sharks don't agree with the eval, so they lack confidence in themselves to help boost to the initial proposed evaluation? Or do they not believe in the product/company/person that much ?
My understanding is inflated number = high risk.
Valuation is pretty much the price of the company. That number cannot be far from the profitability.
Valuation is everything. Would you willing pay more money for something that is literally worth far less than the amount of money you are willing to pay? This is money they earned. You wouldn't waste YOUR money, why would they knowingly waste or risk theirs?
