Allow me to demonstrate the skill of Shaolin…the special technique of shadowboxing…who all came here just to hear that line and how many times did you rewind it?! 😆😆😆
Well, even while using his shadow boxing style the master was still able to touch him up several times. It is only when he used the very top technique of shadow boxing he was able to defeat the master. And he still got hurt, in the process. So, kudos to the old shaolin master.

that evil traitor won that fight because he used the shadow boxing technique for his offense and the pugilisism technique for his defense, yet the shaolin monk broke through his pugilism armor by finding his pressure point with that random kick to his armpit, it’s a beautiful but deadly game of chess
Shaolin monk: So you've learned the top Shaolin style Yao fei Lin: I've had the I-ching manual for 12 years. If I've not mastered it by now then I regard myself as an idiot! One of the best lines ever!!!
You know what I just realized? Classic Kung Fu movies are like visual fidget gadgets, but for the eyes and ears. There is something satisfying watching the connections of each strike, and the sound effects that go with it. LOL! Not all martial arts flicks though, just these classic ones that are either Shaw Brothers or Shaw Brothers inspired. They're the ones with the rhythmic sounds of each strike, as if it's music beats.
I actually first saw this film in Cantonese w english subs( I rented kung fu video tapes in a Chinese Market in our neighboorhood and the owners of the store knew i loved Shaolin movies so they suggested this film to me ) ...not dubbed as you are watching it in this clip ..and let me tell you this moment is more breathtaking to watch in original script (even though i didnt understand a word of it ) but the message i got from the intonations of the original scrypt is that basically this is a very savage fight of a parental figure protecting its young ..and honestly I balled like a baby when i saw the "Master " a gracious, strong, good willed yet at the same time comical and wise character die while protecting his student in this part of the film .....
Don't care what nobody says, He whooped ass all the way until the end, not kicked ass, but whooped some serious asses.. Those damn sound effects were off the charts.... Sounding like 8o8s...tight as hell!
I would say this is one of the greatest Kung-Fu film of all time. Except for Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon was a classic one. That film is amazing too with all the fight scenes at the Island.
Don't know why this came up as recommended for me, but it is the funniest thing I have since watching Hulk Hogan back in the 80's. How can they do that without falling down laughing at each other?
All my life the main thing I've wanted to do is either be an old guy that jumps out of the bushes sideways and then gets his ass kicked or else be an extremely ripped monk kind of guy that gets his as kicked.
Once, when a grandmother saw her 5 year old grandson shadowbox in the house, she taught he was crazy. ``Something wrong with that boy´´ she would said. That boy grew up to be the greatest boxer in history. Sugar Ray Robinson
I love these unique techniques of SHAOLIN KUNG FU MASTERS-I FOUND THEM VERY SPECTACULAR AND ARTISTIC TOO...I THANK YOU FOR POSTING THESE MASTERPIECES OF FIGHTING!!! THE TRUE MASTER MUST BE SAVED!!!

My best friends Dad owned a video store & this showed up out of the blue & he brought it home on a whim(94/95). When we heard the Wu quote, we were trippin'! Regardless, my favorite Ku-Fu movie. Would love to hear some recommendations!
