I'm seriously thinking of going the self build route. There is always something I don't like about all homes I have seen so far. Plus I don't have all the money at once. Currently I only have enough for a small plot. I get put off by conmen contractors who exaggerate building costs but I think with careful research its doable even if its step by step over time. Wish me luck!😀

These houses were done in my presence since I'm a neighbour there....complete ripoff.Best way ever is to build yourself, that way you cut down cost of construction by 50%.I've done a slab roof 4 bedroom unit with 9m on an ⅛ piece of land is way much better than the 20m house you showcase.Otherwise, nice presentation bro!Hoping to meet you soon to showcase mine😉

Nyumba ni kubwa, estate ni supu sana and i love the fact that every room is ensuite and that its a small gated community... But honestly 20 million on that ni kugongwa sanaaaaa, they should modernize the interior, the master bedroom is extremely small and the wooden floor and tiles are outdated..everything else is great just the interior guys, work on that and the houses will move... But great job👍🏾and amazing presentation, he should also emcee😅

I realize that most builders in Kenya don't understand the role of an interior designer and have relegated them to styling duties only aka interior decoration.
An interior designer should come in right at the planning stage with the architect. They should submit drawings of designs that are both functional and aesthetic for the interior space. An interior designer plans where lighting fixtures are placed, ceiling height, kitchen design and other decor.
Architects are more technical and will not do a great job with deciding how the spaces relate.

    Very good work selling...
For 20m though, the design and deco should be modern, classy and elegant. Honestly with 20m, one can get a plot for 5m and do a better house at much less. The owner was either played or wasn't keen on the project. I have seen the apartments in Kilimani, Levington and Kileleshwa and this house lags behind by 10 years. It is better to pay an architect highly and get good stuff that sells out easily. Travelling also helps cos you get to see what is happening around the world. I imagine the developer has the money to do that before pouring all the money in the project.

Terrible indoor colors please change. Those colors reduce the value of the house.

I love love the compound(compared to most properties today). Space is good. The house itself is too basic. Nothing exciting. Nice though...

If I am being honest I expected the house to be at least 50 million. I think 20 million is a bargain.
