- This BUDGET Srixon Golf Ball REALLY SHOCKED ME... When buying golf balls we often wonder what the best golf ball for us is... what is the best golf ball of 2023? the longest golf ball of 2023? the best budget golf ball of 2023? in this video we take a look at a srixon golf ball that has no right to perform like it does for its price... is this the best golf ball money can buy? is it better than a titleist pro-v1? taylormade tp5? or even a callaway chrome soft?

I've used the Ulti soft for 2 seasons now. Especially love the feel around and on the greens. Great ball and some bargains about 3 for 2 etc...Great review and glad to see something I use being reviewed
As a 70 year old golfer I’ve been using the Ultisoft for about a year and found it to be ideal for me in pretty much every area, I did make a suggestion for you to test it several months ago, glad you finally got round to doing it 😊
When I have found these around the course I have kept hold of them and used them as a casual / off season ball as they are really easy to play with and last a lot of abuse as well. For that price I really think they are one well worth a look.
Love this ball played it for a couple of years. Like you said the name could be better but find I go between it and the ad333 now. Ideally I love playing a prov1 when splashing out but this does just as good a job.
I found a really good ball on some Srixon Marathon balls and I have been using those exclusively for a while. Im not sure why but feel and ball flight match me very well.
I've bought a couple of 24 ball boxes the last two years for 32,95€ (or something like that). And that's in Finland where we usually have to pay a bit more. I've quite liked the ball too. Decided to test the Wilson Profile this summer though, so This season it was between those, prize balls and found ones.
I like this ball. I bought a sleeve at the recommendation of the club pro when I ran out of my favourite Callaway Supersoft. Very similar ball at a similar price.
James - I love for you and Chris to do a talking balls episode on the Srixon Q Star Tour. It’s a 3 piece, urethane cover ball at a medium price point - $35 per dozen here in the states. Most definitely a solid ball IMO
I’ve used these for about 12 months. Very happy with them.
I've only watched the first 15 seconds of the video and can already tell you that after buying one box of these balls and playing a round I immediately bought another two boxes because they are a superb ball no matter the cost. I have put away the boxes of Callaway Triple Track Chrome in favour of this ball, just superb distance and feel.
I love the Srixon Z star line.
The Ultisoft has been my gamer for years. Thanks for reviewing.
The Z-Star is one of my favorite balls.
Well done James 👏 😊
I use these all the time. Purely for the feel when putting.
I am loving tge Q Star Tour. I used to play premiums and sometimes still do, but Q Star Tours do it all
Ive seen people talk about the qstar balls are very inconsistent, like the CoG is off on some and stuff like that, you seen that at all?
Like to see this vs the new Wilson Duo Soft.
Srixon are great balls James! I use AD333’s or Soft Feel.
Yous should do a vid on the druids balls they do a double and triple core and very reasonably priced oh and great vid guys as usual
Have played these all season after Srixon told me best ball for slow swing speed and spot on 👍
James, can you please do a premium Big Brand Budget Ball comparison, ie Titleist Tour Speed v TaylorMade Tour Response v Srixon Q Star (Callaway don’t make one), a cheaper urethane ball from the big brands because we all know golfers chose the big brands.
Golf Spy already done
I use soft feel balls all the time and have never seen this one. Is the cover the only difference to the Srixon soft feel? Love the videos in the USA!
I never liked the way the soft feel felt. It felt “light” off the irons and putter. Much preferred the supersoft which I perceive as a “heavier” feel if that makes sense. Played these as a beginning golfer. I would imagine these ultisoft feel much better. I play the Srixon Zstar XV now when I can get it on sale
Cover is Ionomer, compression 42
Sports Direct have Srixon Marathon Soft, a similar ball (maybe even the old name) for £21.99 for 2 dozen.
Hey Coach! Has Adams Golf sent you one of their putters for review? How does it stack up to the Good Good putter? Thanks. Hey Laura & Charlie!
My son plays them , as a 15 year old for his swing speed they are perfect. Interestingly the spin rates were quite a bit higher than the prov1
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not available at Pgasuperstore, Golf Galaxy, or Amazon in the US. Is this a Europe only ball?
I’ve used these balls and I liked them but they did scuff up easily compared to other balls.
I'm looking for a ball for my game. Could you please review the Srizon Z star ◇. It gets expensive, buying balls to test . I'm in my 70s and can't afford afford it. Thanks.
Compared with the Costco Kirkland ball?
Should let Mid Handicap Dave try it with that mini driver you had in the bag he hit it well on Chris’s channel 😂😂😂
Hahaha
Have you thought about testing the Druids golf balls? £10 for 10 last time I checked!
Great video as usual James. I have been playing this ball for years and love it. You should test out Tour Special soft feel balls made by Srixon , box of 15 balls from about £14 .
Fort $23 a doz, I'll play with the Cut Grey, 3 pc urethane cover
Maybe in this series, boys, you should play a "Worst Ball Sramble" to fully test the ball and how consistent it is?
These balls are around a 40 compression if I remember rightly and have a ionomer cover, obviously a 2 piece ball
I can't find those in the USA.
Callaway Warbirds. 19.99
6:10 That empty box can’t decide if it wants to be in shot or not
Would be interesting to see the performance being hit with a low swing speed.
Feels nice but scuffs up too much
2 for 2 that’s 100% make ratio!! 🤣
You guys are dressed like you are expecting it to snow today.
Test golf balls 2.0, get in
2 pros 1 ball
You haven't talked balls until you've talked Slazenger V300 Soft ! Cheapest Balls on the planet from Sports Direct !!
But the Kirkland are even better value for money,
talking balls love it
The name is a double bogey.
golf ball isn't on amazon. so it's fake.
horrible name. who makes those decisons? people who stay at home and don't interact with everyday golfers
