Miss Boozehound always loves living vicariously through your channel. Ah! And he found fruity booze! Her favorite! I was able to find Tigra from the West Coast Avengers 5 pack at a random shop and it was marvelous! You just have to hunt sometimes. Ah! Can’t wait for sweater weather. Enjoy love ❤️
Great video - so much fun, definately want to see more of these! That classic X-Men boxset is kinda the bomb - I have it set up with the gates to Professor Xavier's School for Gifter Youngsters that came with the diamond select phoenix/rachel grey figures.
It's always cool to see a hunt from another culture. The mix of items and places is great. Also love how in one day you could have gotten the Legends Japanese Spider-Man, as well as his ship/giant mech.
Back in the day, regular people would have to buy tickets to a James Bond flick to get a mini tour of exotic locales and faraway places. These days we all just watch Displaying Model Behaviour shopping in Japan. 😂😂
Ah Dave… The revoltech venom is my favorite: the paint and sculpt details are amazing. To me, he has the crazy venom 90s look, leaping with the tongue out. The revoltech joints are great and are a bit more hidden than spidey. . Check it out!
I love these type of videos Dave! I’ve learnt so much about the collectibles and action figures stores in Japan through your eyes to enable me to plan a trip myself one day ☺️👍
Awesome video! My spouse and I lived in Japan (Hyogo Prefecture) from 2013-2015, and we'd make regular shopping trips to Denden Town to browse the amazing selection of figures and video games. Your trip to Hero Gong brought back some great memories.
That S.H. Figurarts Wolverine was $77.62CAD converted from Yen and it sells for $103 on Amazon... not too shabby from my perspective! We also still have ToysRus stores in Canada too. They haven't taken away everything from my childhood yet!
Great video, Dave! My eyes didn't happen upon any panty vending machines in the background scenery, though..... How odd?!! Diggin' that 9%, btw! Cheers!
Man, I sure wish I knew of these places when I visited Japan a few years ago! Definitely saving this video for next time a travel there. So many good stuff beyond marvel legends as well
Dave you wouldn't believe this but I live in Michigan in the middle of nowhere ,and unless I travel nearly 100 miles I can't find any legends . I usually end up ordering from Big Bad Toy Store . Finding Legends in the Wild is an actual shock to me .
Thank you so much for this, Dave - It's always great to see items on offer that my local shops don't stock. In addition, as a fellow Brit, I also appreciate, and really love seeing, how clean and tidy the streets are in your local area... Reminds me of my home-town in the 70's - hedges were trimmed, gardens were neat, and the streets weren't a dumping ground for heaps of old iron (cars)... Nice to see a thriving civilisation, rather than a decaying one... Stay safe, Dude. ;)
Crazy -when I was there in 2006, there were anime’ -mostly chibi characters everywhere. Like all over the trains and busses inside and out. Street worker cones had anime’ characters on them. everything. We also ran into a Godzilla in Tokyo. heheh When I was there, we never found a single marvel or Star Wars item in all of Japan. It’s good to see some now.
Wow, totally different from west London, no rain. Some great figures at great prices. I have most of the Toy Biz & Legends. That X-Men box set, there is an Avengers box set, have them both, never got the FF#1 monster. Must be great living there with all that access to all that amazing food.
Great video as always Dave! Great tour all over the best stores in Osaka. Have you ever been in Lashinbang or Mandarake also in Namba? If so, what do you think? Cheers! Btw. That was the Glion Museum at the beginning of the video right?
🤯🤯🤯 THEY HAD THE DIAMOND SELECT PHEONIX!!??!! I would have skipped Nico and Laura for her!! AND BOTH MAFEX GWENPOOLS!!??! I wouldn’t be able to afford them, but Gwendolyn Poole is a TOP favorite character that I would choose over all the rest
Honestly I wish other countries leaned more into this stuff I’ve never been to America but it would be cool if in your airports you guys had captain America statue n shi (correct me if there is btw)
Dave just casually walking by knightfall Batman hurt my soul
You know he hates McFarlane and doesn't like DC much smh lol
I love japanese mythology and history so much.
This was such a fun video! Hope to see more videos like this in the future!! 🙏

Dave great show and love seeing all the places to go and get Marvel Legends! But really expensive! Great figures old and new.👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
That Frankenstein frame tray puzzle is rare and from the 90s. Looks like it's going for about 5 dollars. Jesus.
Back in the day, regular people would have to buy tickets to a James Bond flick to get a mini tour of exotic locales and faraway places. These days we all just watch Displaying Model Behaviour shopping in Japan. 😂😂
I enjoyed this vid a lot. The clear footage u got of some of those older figs. 💎🤘🏼
Thanks for the tour. Planning to take a trip to Japan in 2025
7:37 that tall spider-man all the way in the back right corner is the Captain Action Spider-Man, which is the FIRST Spider-Man figure ever made.
Thank you for this Dave! This was really cool to see! I was having a bad day and this brightened it up a bit.
Really enjoy this video Dave, thanks for taking your time and sharing!!!

You just destroyed my mental image of a Japanese city in the best way! I've never wanted to visit until just now!

You not picking up that Gladiator for $5 is the biggest crime of the century
Honestly in hindsight i regret that now!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour especially with his appearance in 97!
Did you see much Starblazers/Yamato merchandise?
Wow, totally different from west London, no rain. Some great figures at great prices. I have most of the Toy Biz & Legends. That X-Men box set, there is an Avengers box set, have them both, never got the FF#1 monster. Must be great living there with all that access to all that amazing food.

Lol they have some real gems there
Pretty sure Toys R Us only closed in the US lol here in Canada we just got more.
we'll be in Tokyo this coming October. Is there a place there where you can recommend to look for marvel legends?
If you think that fantastic for fighting the more monster is dope, you should check out the one from series two where is everyone versus Galactus!!!!
Sweet!!! I wanna be there! ❤
It’s worth the visit!
Very cool
Thank you
Revol Tech venom is one big wonky puzzle
It’s pricy - the loose figs are worth it tho. Box doesn’t matter.
The X-23 and Nico both are figs I DESPERATELY want!! That is just unfair…
Lol sorry to tease!
That place looks like the place from the Yakuza games more so the last turn based one when your on the bridge at the start :P
It should do, Kamarocho is based off of Osaka! :)
Dave you lucky son of a gun! 👍
Honestly I wish other countries leaned more into this stuff I’ve never been to America but it would be cool if in your airports you guys had captain America statue n shi (correct me if there is btw)
Love your video!
Thank you so much man. More like this to come!
The Toys R Us prices were pretty close yo American MSRP. They must not have to pay such extreme import costs/customs fees like the other good.
Fast forward 1 year later..Dave bought the Venom, and it crumbled in his hands.
If only I could warn past Dave.
Q: Why did the lion get lost in the jungle?
A: Because jungle is massive
I use to have that weapon x figure when I was a kid
Man any Kamen Rider content while in Japan
U great
Cart races lol
Why did you move
I work at Universal Studios in Osaka
