I wish i sow the video before losing a month to get to the right mix , and thank you for showing the right way of mixing it with water , i wasted 80% of my mix , before finding out the right way 👌
Hi Jai, love your videos. I dont have access to Cementall here in Ireland but I have recently started making my vessels from sand and cement. I'm loving it because I now can make different size vessels as I've been making them 5 years now with the 1 size because of supplies here and was always glass jars. I bought the Amazon mould and I think its brilliant and very strong. My ? Is would you have any idea where I could purchase a lid to fit it. Thankyou again for all you fantastic videos. 🙋♀️

There are various hues of off white but unfortunately you can't add too much if you are adding in TD and acrylic paint. Try 5% and see how that goes but don't add paint to it as your Cement All jar is already tan without additives.
Thank you for your sharing experince.Could you please answer my question? could you please tell me if i Can I use a can of construction paint for whitening?
The issue with construction paint is that it isn't heat resistant. Another issue you could be facing is toxicity. I would look to get something like this amzn.to/3OggDqp and protect yourself with a respirator while doing so.
I have never tried that but it might help to some degree. However, a good sealer will protect a hydrostone jar from calcination. It won't protect it 100% but it will definitely help.
@@upvibecandle I’m so glad you said this, because I was about to redo my whole formula lol. I have terrible analysis paralysis, and I’ll test every substance and combination on earth in search of the perfect vessel. I’ll keep practicing with hydrostone and sealers.
Is there still a risk for calcination if I’m using hydrostone for candlestick holders? Also, would using eco advance siloxane be a good sealing option?
It all depends on how far the candle burns into the holder. Is the flame coming in tight or is there distance? Also, I haven't tried EA with hydrostone so I can't say. However, I would imagine it would work. I have used ESF with no problem.
@@Loycegbrown Do you mean what name brand hydrostone? It's from USG but I believe they are the only ones who make hydrostone. If there are various types or kinds I would love to know.

Hey I love your content alot
Question? Would you enjoy more content that leaned a bit towards planters as well? Thanks for the comment.
I think you are already doing a perfect job. 📝📝

@@upvibecandle Thankyou, I certainly will. Gonna have a look now. 👍
Than you for the comparison. Only channel to do this!!!
What sealant can you add to Hydrostone to allow higher temperatures to resist calcination?
I use Earth Safe Finishes and have had no problem. Also the surface temperature of your jar should never get over 140 degrees.
Will you do a video on making your wax and wick and fragrance thanks for all your great videos
It’s already in the works.
@@upvibecandle okay cool I’ll stay tuned and be looking forward to it thanks

Jai, any recommendations where to purchase hydrostone in the US? I’m in NY and have called a few places and it’s expensive to ship.
I buy mine from Canada and pay $30 for shipping. I know they sell Hydrostone in Brooklyn if you are in NYC portion of NY.
I’m about 1.5 hours from Brooklyn but if I try it and love it it might be worth it if I buy a large quantity at one time. Thanks a lot
Came to ask the same. Thanks!!
@@upvibecandleDo you have a link on who you buy your hydro stone from??

Can you combine hydrostone with concrete to preserve the strength while also preventing calcination?

How about if you use white cement and then you can add the other ingredients to make it a white white white? 😅
