I never heard of Annette Strean before clicking on this video for the first time ever yesterday. I've watched this video about 10 times since. I have such a crunch on her. Know what a crunch is? It's just like a crush except crunchier. She is so cute I can't believe it. And this song is great. I faintly recognized the song from somewhere in my past, and found out it's an old Donna Summer song. I missed most of the disco era. I was a rocker and there was a war on disco. The disco boys, Johnny Travolta, Jordache Jeans, and the spoon for up your nose, it all seemed so cheesy, so me and my rocker buddies missed the whole thing. The good thing about it is a lot of the music was actually pretty cool and I'm getting to enjoy it for the first time. Hearing this for the first time yesterday really blew me away. The simplicity of it, combined with the raw power of that hard rocking band got me good. And this pretty girl, singing about love with that beautiful smile, I heart her in the crunchiest of ways. This really was amazing.

@@AlphaMachina They toured with Blue Man in the early 200Os. I went to one of the concerts on this tour in 2003. That tour ended in 2004. Her surgery took place about a year after the tour and about a year before the release of their next album in 2006. She is still a great singer, but her voice is just not quite what it was before the surgery. She is still young, maybe 43 right now, so I hope she and the guys make some music again.
I ha e seen this so many times and watch it ever now and again ! And every time I am blown away with the power and happiness !! So amazing !!
You can tell she loves everything about it and let's it show! That voice is not from this earth but I'm glad she is!
Absolutely mindblowing both musically and visually!
I've seen this performance and that vocal at 4:19 still makes my jaw drop!!! Pure power! Pure love for music!!
Honestly, it's one of the best 7 seconds of music of all time.
It's great their arrangement gives the space for that amazing vocal.
Child gives me chills. I sent this as a Christmas card this year.
This part in particular touches my soul
Annette is so obviously happy to be there and she is so uplifting! Amazing voice and stage presence. She wears a beautiful smile. Dang, what else to say?
I loved this. Never heard of her and had never watched the Blue Man Group. Now would like to see them in person.
See it, GO to one of their shows, at all cost. Do it! It will blow you away! I promise!!
If you get a chance...yes! GO! They're awesome, the show is fun, the music excels....and you'll laugh so hard!
I went to the Vegas show. I was covered in paint, confetti and toilet paper with a huge smile on my face. Its an out right blast. Any of their locations.
Search for the same where she is actually singing live, and not mouthing it. Not as "exciting"... bloody awful in fact.
Malc2169 Couldn't find it. I didn't know she was lip-syncing here??....
I have just found this video and can't stop watching it . Its amazing to listen to and the visuals .i have tried to watch other blue guy videos but not the same wall of sound and visual excellence.
this is my favourite cover of all time right now
Ну це просто охрінітєльно! Слухаю 15 рокіа і кожен раз надихає. Це мистецтво в рівень з Гете, Петраркою і Емінемом!
What an amazing group of musicians! I love Annette Strean's voice. She has one of the greatest voices in music. And that's coming from a metal head. I wish I was at this show. Awesome!!!
Absolutely stunning cover of a brilliant song. Love everything about this, music and performance are amazing. If that doesn't put a smile on your face, close the book. You're dead.
This woman is a true Diva. Could someone please pull together a couple of million..a star producer and a couple of gifted writers and some happening session musicians and let her light the world on fire ?
That's marvellous!
I have had a bad few weeks, health problems, but this, just blew me away, love it, should be prescribed.
Indeed. Their (Venus Hum's) music always picks me up.
Wouldn't it be nice if blue man group was prescribed for us every day ?!?!?!?!? :D
Wow. Im blown away. Love the guitar work and everything else going on. Wow. Great voice.
