@@LiveofBryon I saw them in Vegas recently, and they did a whole marshmallow bit, and were giving it to some woman in the front row. One of them actually put it inside "her" purse, then someone later on from the crew came and picked up the purse. She was an actual viewer, but I guess she was asked earlier on to be "part" of it. None the less, going to see them was the best decision I've ever made. It was phenomenal.

I saw them live about 15 years back. Without a doubt one of the most entertaining and imaginative shows I've ever seen.

Wouldn't recommend going to the current one in Vegas they keep making dumb changes to the show and now it lame. Go to the new York one
I love how these very well could be beings from another world and they're so confused about how we act but everyone's just like "YEAH WOO THOSE PIPES ARE MAKING SONGS I KNOW WHO CARES IF THEYRE BLUE" and I just think that's kinda beautiful.
What I love about the blue man group is that they're like a group of grown up children.

@@fbi6909 they do wear masks but their mouths and eyes are exposed, but from mouth and neckline up is a latex or similar materiel mask that has the paint on it. Hence why their ears are covered.

I saw a BMG performance about 4-5 years ago in Chicago at the Briar Street Theater. It was a fun show. Comedy, art, and music. But I'm telling you now that the 3-man accompanying group that played with them was fucking phenomenal! They were uncredited as I recall. But after the show, they came out and I approached them and told them how terrific they were. They weren't expecting that and they appreciated it. I don't know any of their names. I hope they were well-paid and got some kind of recognition somewhere, in some way. It always reminds me of the Danny Gatton story...

Saw the original line up in the early 90's at the Charles theater in Boston. Such a great performance. Back up band was crushing everything and the drummer had a prosthetic attachment of some sort that made it look like he had two heads. It was disturbingly realistic yet fun to watch. Brilliance.
Blue Man Group is the only group ik to mix so much talent into one group

I've seen them three times over a good span of years and still want to see them again. Always worth it.
This is definitely one of those “must see” shows. You can’t experience a real effect of it, unless you see it live. Not sure how COVID restrictions affected their shows, but it used to be amazing, including some audience interactions. If you get a chance, definitely go see it.👍

One time, I was in Las Vegas, and then I went to a blue man group performance, and I was staring one of them down, but then one of them stared at me back and threw me a marshmallow, and then I caught it, and ate it. That was the most important marshmallow I’ve ever had.

Definitely a show worth seeing. Ive seen it three times and my homie was a teen and got too close during the aftershow pictures and got slapped by one of them it was pretty hilarious.

I yelled Free Bird at a show 7 years ago when i saw them for the first time as a joke, now they do it every show now.. kinda weird but cool at the same time.

When BMG came down into the audience during the first performance I went to I was a few feet away from one of them and the effect was electric. My visceral reactions was not that this was an actor in a costume and blue makeup, _this was an actual blue man from…?_ Suspension of disbelief was instant and complete. And I understood at that moment what geisha are: performance artists who, with makeup, costume and stylized movements, create a powerful, otherworldly persona.
