This is a good question! Learning all the Spanish tenses and conjugations can be a lot to take on. I would suggest focusing on simple present, present progressive, preterite, imperfect, and future. Once you get those down, you should be able to maneuver basic conversations until you can learn the rest. Hope this helps!

I speak English as my second learned language but I just studied Spanish for a year in my college days. I remember a few words.
