Like any good movie there is always a twist ending. This one is "love". The soul and drive for adventure feeling has dwindled for me, as a viewer. I guess the 50 state adventure is on hold. Loved the adventure with Annie and Jade... But this is now turning out to be a love story with just updates and more updates. Starting to loose interest, and it's a shame I really was hooked on the vlog
Yep, i share the same opinion. The daily vlog became a weekly vlog, which is the saddest thing, and the updates - to be honest: super boring. And the most interesting things are not captured, not even the bed structure was beeing introduced very well, also: - your daily cooking situation, how and where and what groceries you get, laundry time, drinking water situation, everything people are interested in how jake and izzi manage those basic things living on the road. Please dont forget the Overlanding, Camping parts Jake! Put the Camera out more often! Do an Q&A, do Banana Pancakes! Do the stuff we all got hooked on.

I use film fluid on my hitch and underneath the jeep. It’s easy to do yourself
That new trailer repair while certainly better than the previous solution I think might still cause you problems. You still have a pretty long extension coming out of your receiver that has no triangulation for support. That part should really be as short as possible and the trailer extended out to meet that. Think a much longer triangle. This would increase strength as well help the trailer track better not only going forward but also when backing up. Again it's def better now so hopefully wont be a problem.Either way be safe out there and Merry Christmas.Edit: If you were in my neck of the woods, I would totally help you relocate all that electrical to the inside of the trailer. Electrical is my cup of tea.

Merry Christmas! Glad you not only got ghee trailer fixed, but had a great time with Izzi's family. White Christmas isn't all it's cracked up to be. We had to head home from visiting my daughter in N.Y. two days early thanks to the huge storm that's rolled in. Took over 6.5 hrs to make the 3.5 hr trip home. I hate snow and and jealous you got to have a warm Christmas. Big hugs as always

Is it me or does the audio only play out of the left speaker/headphone when Jake uses the camera?
His camera audio only plays on the left channel from one of the cameras he is using. Frustrating because at work I keep my right earbud in when I listen to youtube in the background. I have commented this a couple times in the past on other videos but he probably doesn't care.
Scuzzy X I think he cares, he just hasn’t seen our comments. Or might night have the money for a new camera/mic. His channel is relatively small.

I was in South Beach Miami for Christmas this year and on my way back to TN someone threw up a rock from under their truck and busted the windshield on my brand new Tundra! Just a thought, I am not so sure your new fix is going to be as durable as it could be, extending the pintle out puts a lot of stress on things unnecessarily. I think you started down the right road when you extended the tongue of the trailer, but you maybe should have extended it long enough to put the Lunette and pintle much closer to the receiver. Then the load would be carried by both of the angle pieces going back to the trailer...... Just trying to help, not trying to ridicule......
I agree 100%. The tongue of the trailer should be extended long enough to NOT need an extended hitch receiver off the bumper. Now that the extended receiver is thicker than the last one, I would really keep an eye on the hitch where it is welded to the bumper, as well as the bumper mounts themselves.
Using thicker square tubing on the extended receiver hitch does not take away from the leverage it is causing on the bumper. Rather it just makes that part stronger and will stress and break at the next weakest link.
Extend the trailer tongue an additional 1.5 feet or enough to clear the swing out. Shorten the receiver hitch as close to the bumper as possible.
Couldn't agree more. It is better than it was but the weak spot is still the receiver extension. Just plain wrong as it is.
