I was working in the Overland Bound booth right next door on Saturday for the first half of the day, I'm OB 3553. Anyway, when I finally had a free second I walked over to say hi but you were so swamped with people that I didn't want to crowd you more. Came back on Sunday to say hi but you were already gone! I live in Flagstaff and went to the Expo last year, but couldn't make it this year. I wish I had been able to meet you and check out Jade. You should really try to distribute a bit of weight to the front of your rig. You could put a bit more on the front of your roof rack or mount a water Jerry can to the hood on the passenger side. If you do it lower and length wise you could probably still get the window to fold down. You could also give your Jeep a snorkle and then mount stuff to the front so you wouldn't compromise any intake.

Really nice vid Jake. I was there and you look like you had a lot more fun than I did. I was a little put off by the monstrosity of it and how it had different experiences for those who paid more. Started out as a guy living in his Jeep planning a 50 state road trip. Not anymore. Appears he mostly lives with others while fixing the Jeep and trailer, and sometimes goes camping around a few states with a buddy. Nice guy, different focus.

Anyway, got a question, ya don't appear to reply to comments but maybe you'll see it maybe it comes up, IDK. Why a Wrangler, in the beginning it's what ya had, and you're kinda set on it now, but there must have been a time when ya considered something bigger?
I dig Jeeps big and small, when I was living on the road I was rolling a full size Wagoneer but if I was to do it again it'd be a my ole diesel Ferd. There's just a lot of benefit to that extra space and robustness. For example everything you use the trailer for now but more efficient and reliable.

Are you still living in your Jeep? I turned my FJ Cruiser into a similar travel camper back in 2010 and lived in it for 3 months with my 100lb dog. Best 20,000 miles ive ever driven

I'm a viewer since sailboat days. The original Jake planning for and then living in a Jeep, planning a 50-state road trip with frequent posts, drone footage, midnight munchies and your charismatic personality were great! But your plans have changed, and that's fine. You are no longer living in Jade and aren't making any meaningful progress on a 50-state trip. You stay with others a lot, post a little, and go camping sometimes. Just not very interesting other than the cult of personality you've developed. As your TH-cam earnings go up, your posts go down. I hope the original IAMJAKE returns someday. I honestly wish you health and happiness and hope everyone who continues to follow you enjoys your new focus. I mean no disrespect to you or to them. For me, you've become #IAMFAKE
