- I did more #shopping at the Goodwill #thriftshop in Burnham, Pennsylvania where I found a score of ceramics and a #Titanic find. Blue Ridge and Staffordshire plates and Nippon teacups and saucers are just some of the treasures other thrifters missed. #Thriftwithme, Ph.D. Antiques Appraiser Dr. Lori, as I show you the bargains and I leave them on the shelves for you. Plus, I reveal the spongeware maker to find, a valuable laptop protector and how to spot a knock-off Hummel.

I love her sense of humor 💙🤍
In all the different utube thrift videos I find yours the most succinct, informative, educating, interesting... you name it!!!
She is the best because she has a doctorate which means she's very highly educated even with background in appraising things for museums. The other thrifting channels are just girls going shopping just giving you their suggestions so I don't even listen to them anymore. This woman is the most professional and you learn a lot by listening to them
Dear Lori, Can you tell me the Value of Blue Dishes (some white on them) that people use to Hang on their Walls, Or keep in their China Cabnets? (Not just for China)😂. But I have about 5 different Dishes like that, That an Older Lady had on her Wall. Her Son gave them to me about 5 yrs ago. Also I Think I might have a small Tiffany Lamp, I saw today where you was Showing T.Lamps and the Fake ones. Mine has The Base and The Top Thing you showed, Plus the Shade is different colors too Like Tiffanys. About 16 - 20 inches tall. Im guessing. 😂
Whats the value of any of This stuff? Can you please tell me? (Approx.)? I have a Few different things that I need to learn more about. Can you help? Youre SO Knowledgable😮👍... Its Amazing❤🙂. Thank You So Much. God Bless You 🙏🙌🏼. (He Has Blessed You With So Much Knowledge Already)🙂🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. (Im a Senior,) I cant believe it. 😂
It's always good to be learning. Glad to see other people appreciate Blue Ridge Pottery, and such good prices as well. It's great that China is back in style, cuz l hate to think of all those dishes going home free. Happy Groundhog's Day.🏜️🏜️🏜️🦓🦓🦓🦓💜💜💜🌠🌠🌠🌠🌈🌈🌈⏰⏰⏰⏰🪷🪷🪷🌹🌹🌹🌹🌈🌈🌈🫀🫀🫀🫀👾👾👾🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️🐐🐐🐐😁😁😁😁🧦🧦🧦🌠🌠🌠🌠💪💪💪

I really appreciate the way you teach us about thrift store shopping. Besides that I really like your personality. I'm sure you and I would be good freinds.
I'm sure you are right.
Dr. Lori, I love your thrift shopping videos!
Love your Goodwill reviews! How exciting you found Blue Ridge pottery. My husband’s grandmother worked and painted at the factory in Erwin, TN. We have a great collection of different pieces and I love displaying all.
“What to expect when you’re expecting…. That’s for people…” lol I felt that, Dr. Lori! 😂
How great was that?😂

Yes!!! Another thrift with Dr Lori video!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! ❤
My stepmom loved anything Homer Laughlin and Blue Ridge Pottery.
Just found you today. I used to go to antique stores when traveling, but haven’t in a while. But what fun watching you rummage around.
You make me burst out laughing. I love you such a wonderful show. Thank you for all you do, and all you’ve taught us.
Thanks Dr. Lori for your info. I have been watching you for years and am glad you are actually going to thrift stores to teach us.
All hail the Queen of Cupcakes! Adore you, thank you for the laughter and knowledge ❤️
I wish I would have known about your specialized vocation. Being from central MN. and not being far removed from antiques, I would have loved to have gone to school in at least a relayed field. I was a art major and as you know in most cases the only way to earn a living was to teach. I inherited few pieces from my mom's side nothing from my dad's. Dad's were rich in children, nothing else. Grandpa built a home 2 room. 7 kids....
. Well I again love your vocation, your gift of showmanship. Love your shows. Thank you. I am the youngest in my family, 70. Mom would have been 103 and granny 130. But alas I wish I would have more treasures to inherit.
You are a hoot! Love your knowledge and sense of humor!!
Dr Lori I was so pleased to wake up this morning and noticed you took us thrifting. Fantastic video! Thank you.

My grandma had the real Blue Willow we ate off them many times. A great memiry of great, fun times. At 71 yrs old now, I have fond memories .

Thank you Dr. Lori! Watching your videos always gives me great joy! Even if I repeatedly watch your videos
That big yellow bowl was our banana pudding bowl. I’ve got 2 of them, and still use it for that. Ahh, food memories!
I absolutely love shopping with you. I am enjoying getting to know your likes, personality and more about your family and growing up. I am also learning more about what to look for while thrifting. Thank you for all you do, free heartily!
Love you Dr. Lori! Go Blue! From A2! And former CT girl! Learning a lot from you!💘💘💘
I’ve collected Blue Ridge for decades. Love it.
15:00 My 10-year-old granddaughter watched Titanic with her parents, and they didn't warn her about the ending. She was really upset and cried for about an hour afterwards. The poor thing. 🤗
I agree! We’re all over the gravy!
Every time I watch Dr. Lori I want to immediately run out to a thrift store.
😂😂I know. I wish it wasnt so much traveling though. I sure cant travel.😂😂

Love your videos so much Dr. Lori! I’m in my late 20s and own a small antique store with my partner. Been in the business for close to 10 years and still learning so much from you! I always think of you and what I’ve learned from you when I go thrifting!

Hi Dr. Lorie, ( miss Peach), you are teaching me to appreciate mid-century items, I do like a lot of it, rather quaint. Always chose antiques, thought the other stuff was just kitch, you are changing my mind! Thanks I think!!!! You're always fun & informative.
I was so excited to see this video today. I found 6 of the older Blue Ridge plates just today! They are so pretty!!!!
Coffee table books are impressive...I have an MGM 50 yrs

My Grandma had Blue Ridge. I wonder whatever happened to it 🤔 Perhaps thrown away. I’d love to still have them.
Too funny, Dr. Lori. You be moving great distances. Enjoy our east coast. WOW, what a find. Like to see Sarasota area if you can swing. What a great job teaching us and finding great objects! I often trade up on China so to enjoy variety.
Another great video by Dr. Lori! Thank you so much for educating us! It's invaluable!

Loved watching
Thank you for your videos. Learning so much from you.
I'm really concerned about the tape pulling off any gilding or painting. Yikes! And please stop marking the prices in Sharpie. Even if I'm not reselling, I don't want the price on the bottom of my shoes, or my dishes.
I wish they would use magic pens instead.. lol.. they only show in blacklight at least.
I just removed the tape from a Goodwill purchase, only to discover the tape was hiding chips…. keeping my receipts from now on so I can return damaged items.
Hello from New Tampa, Fl I really enjoy browsing Goodwill, garage sales and estate sales, too! So, this is fun 😊 Don’t buy anymore I like to travel, so I save $$ TFS
Good to know! I love to travel and glad you like the vids. I am in Tampa often.
I use my Tupperware pasta microwave piece all the time and it comes out great! My husband is Italian…he isn’t complaining!
I've been putting back single plates. I did sell 5 Pfalzgraf plates not that long ago within 24 hours Goodwill uses the worst price stickers to get off. The sticker ruined a Nine West handbag that I bought. It cost me extra to buy black leather repair cream in order to be able to use the bag. Won't be selling it now so it's mine.
I love your Channel and You Dr Lori. You are the Best!! Lots of love from Calgary Canada ❤
I always look at books with spiral binding….usually local cookbooks!
Please keep doing these videos!! They are so interesting!! Please come to Jersey so you can see for yourself the absolute disarray and expensive prices in our Goodwills. It’s depressing lol.
By the way I have a set of Johnson Brothers blue and white coaching scenes from when I got married 43 years ago. Worth anything? I don’t really use them and my style has changed. Ty dr Lori
I bought a Homer Laughlin creamer "George & Martha" as in Washington for .75¢ it was manufactured in 1950 yup 73 yrs old!!!!?
Thanks Dr. Lori, great video!!
Love ur videos, u are so generous with information.
Dr. Lori! Yesterday I bought TWO child-size rocking chairs b/c you always say to never pass these up. One is black hitchcock style ($25), and the second is a smaller plain brown one ($7). Will be interesting to see how they do on FB Marketplace, b/c I ain't shipping furniture...
Oh Dr Lori I need to hire you to come to my house if you want to look at China! I have several generations worth I have inherited. Several sets! Have been looking on your website to find out how to get it all appraised! Love learning from you!
Enjoyed!

Great video... We have a new super Goodwill coming... I'll check if they're interested in bringing you to Virginia.... 🤞🏾
What area in Virginia? I'm in Springfield.
Yikes! All the tape on the gold rims of the 16 place settings china set. How sad.
