no krono is huge, might have to check this out and stream this
People will Play EQ 1 TLP for their Krono . And then play TLE on EQ 2 . Since Krono affects account wide. I don't think DayBreak will change that , You will just have to comse Krono on the Live server or EQ1

So excited! Tried the first TLE and it wasn’t what I was looking for, hope this is it.
I quit EQ2 many years ago when they revamped the stats into "Primary Stats" and have routinely complained over the years how it took away from what used to be a very compelling game imo. Seeing the return of actual stats is so exciting to me and I will be trying this server out. Hopefully it is popular enough that Daybreak keeps that change in the future.

On the Holiday events, I'd hope they could still give us the classic Nights of the Dead haunted house (added in 2005) and the original Frostfell Wonderland Village (added in 2006), but I guess they don't have the resources to restore those.
The haunted house was like the best thing EVER and i still people about the skelly at the end of it scaring the absolute shit out of me lol

No Krono never thought I would see the day daybreak not think just about the $$$.
Honestly I don't know why this makes any difference. If you can still consume Krono on other servers for game time, people will still probably sell stuff for Krono, you'll just have to meet up on a separate server to do the trade. Yeah there will be more risk, which MIGHT dissuade some people from doing it, but it's still gonna happen. But I guess it's better than nothing..
Your Krono affects your Day Break Account. For all games . Locking out one game doesn't seem Logical. If they did they would be limiting the population from day 1 of launch. But I can see them not doing (trading/Consuming) it on one server . Means people will play on Multi-servers then.
But ya the way they 1 st introduced Krono was bad . Its not that Krono is bad its the way they do it .

Absolutely! Maybe not super in-depth but I will definitely do some general class and mechanic videos when beta comes out. Loved raiding with y'all! I'm excited for Teek too!!
Hey Bear! Given that there really isn’t much documentation out there anymore about EQ2 compared to, say, WoW or even EQ1, would it be possible for you to make a shareable Google sheet with all sorts of links to resources for reference? Specifically, archived information that would be relevant for Origins.
When I first jumped into Varsoon I started delving the web for information and I was pretty shocked to have so little success digging up archived links and resources, but I’m sure I missed a lot.
I think it would be a super useful tool for players to have as a “one-stop” shop when they have questions

Good idea. I'll try to compile some things. There is a ton of info out there, and now with Origins being so different, all of the info will have to be recultivated. I don't know if I will have the bandwidth to do all of that, but I can at least try to catalog my videos.

There is an "EQ2 Classic" wiki in the works, although until the Beta comes out we're limited in what we can confirm will be ingame on the new server.

If you play on the Beta server, is it rolled into the live server when it launches?
It is not. It will be cleared.
I hope they use the level stage caps as a way to get people to report any errors or changes needed in the game during beta vs people rushing to 50 and the majority of quests and areas sub 40 getting left to rot.

I think that's the intent, but I hope that towards the end of the Beta they eventually open it up to level 50 so we can test that content as well. Even if the first 30 levels end up flawless and bug-free, if the endgame is dysfunctional then people won't stick around.
Are there any good videos to show off what the content will be like in EQ in this era of 2006 ?
Hard to tell and likely origins won't be exactly the same. Gonna have to test it out for sure

No, the Anashti server will start after that was patched out.
I never Played EQ2 at Classic . i guess this is the closest thing will get to it. I m going to try . I played when it went FTP , And the combat system I really never understand compared to EQ 1. Pushing / mousing a bunch of buttons seem to dumb down . Console gaming . (Kids with ADD )EQ one the ability's would just proc on their own except for certain AAs . I played Guardian but it seemed like certain casters could Tank better than a Guard that seemed really silly . Major Class unbalance. But I'm going to try

Yes, but the server isn't live or updated. Just follow the directions in the link on the video and keep your beta folder up to date. When it's released, you should be able to log in.

2006 is not classic eq2
Correct! 2006 was mid-Kingdom of Sky -- the client they are gleaning from had a fair amount of EoF code in it as well, but the experience should mimic Kingdom of Sky.
