Great video. I'm a Ranger fanatic. Class balance is always an issue, I have seen it go back and forth with Assassin over the life of EQ2. Just a quick nuance in case you wanted to mention it: Master Strike (which isn't predator specific, I realize) is positional. You were talking about positional attacks and while it is NOT positional for other classes, I think maybe all scouts, but definitely Rangers, you have to be flanking or behind to use your L&L attack. Liked and subscribed. Keep 'em coming. I know a few people who like these hopefully the word will continue to spread.
Great video, I watched all of your class overviews. Very informative. I come from EQOA back in the day, and I am completely brand new to EQ2 and struggling to find any information on builds, AA, spell priority etc. Are there any guides or literature you could recommend? Thanks in advance.
For spell priority, I have a Spell efficiency video you should check out! AAs are sometimes subjective depending on your situation! Lemme know what class you are going to pick!
@@bear.necessities I will check out the spell efficiency video now. I am currently playing a Freeblood Assassin on the Varsoon Server. Any information would be greatly appreciated, I am a numbers nerd and love to study my class, but there's literally nothing online to research as far as I can tell!
So i'm playing a ranger. Pretty well geared out. Valian Bow, got my prismatic. Lot of DPS items. Keep my auto attack set to ranged only, but still pretty behind the assassins in DPS. Is that just the way it is, or am I doing something wrong? Most of my skills are either Master or Expert and I'm always hitting buttons on cool down, hitting my stealth skills etc etc.

Interesting point! Thanks for letting me know - I honestly didn't realize this.
@@bear.necessities I'm addicted to your videos now. Got a buddy hooked on them too. I love your breakdown and have learned all kinds of great stuff.

Unfortunately that's just the way it is. Assassins are stronger than rangers right now but you should probably still be ahead of swash and brigand
@@bear.necessities Any chacne DoF will buff them at all?
@@whealler100 - They do get some new spells in DoF! I'm currently making a video outlining that.
um um um um um um um .
Ha - yeah for sure. I've gotten better over time but this was one of my first few videos
