  • This injection pump is off of a Massy 275 tractor. It was leaking fuel in a bad way. I removed and re-sealed the pump. I thought you might want to see what is inside of a fuel injection pump. NOTE! I did not show all of the steps. This is not something you should try to do at home. One wrong move and you can have a run-a-way engine.     nice video very great job!! i want to ask you something? i have a tractor but is not massey ferguson, it is imt 542 ex-yugoslavian tractor 31.3 kw 42 hp and tractor have the same injection pump like massey 135! my tractor have some problems of the injection in the winter has very hard start! in summer start very easy ! and it hasn't much engine power ? can i gett an answer from you!! thank you very much.

      +Egzon Pllana (Pllana Agrar) kind of hard to say without being there with the tractor. Sound to me like a low compression issue, but most diesel engines are hard to start in the winter... that is why we use block heaters. If the engine runs good when warm, your injection pump should be ok.

      +Rob D yes is true when is warm traktor start good but in summer to when it work from morning to afternoon in that moment when I stop engine 2-5 minutes later he lazy to much to start on summer??

    Kindly share some advice on what could be the issue with my pump. It stopped working two weeks ago,after i disassembled I found the shoe and rollers worn out I got a new set n replaced two days later the same problem hit me again,I bought another set plus the cam ring,because I found out the cam ring also was worn out. Last weekend it stalled again after examining I found the same issue. What could be wrong. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanx

      You are either assembling incorrectly or you have abrasives in your fuel...

    why isnt my throttle lever returning when i let of rhe throttle have to manually do it?

      with the engine off. remove the throttle linkage from the pump lever. rotate the pump control lever by hand. it should not bind in any way. if it does, you can try some wd40 or the like around the shaft.. might help. I would guess your problem is not in the pump, but the linkage itself.....

      As the engine RPM increases the pressure from the vane pump increases, pushing the timing adjust piston, advancing the timing.. hope that helps....

    Good morning dear I have a tractor mf 165 engine Perkins 4.203 The diesel pump was damaged There is a part of it (cam ring) I want to replace it and I do not know the code. Can you write me the original number. I live in a war zone where there is no service

    Is there a better gasket and o'rings than OEM? I have to wonder if these Ford o'rings are safe for the new diesel
    Ford pt # gasket 384771R1 and Orings - Ford pt # 49886

      I don't know. I always use OEM CAV parts....

      I have a local injection pump repair shop about 50 miles away. I am sure you can find parts on the web....

      +lilac0038 check your throttle linkage to make sure the lever on the top of the pump is contacting the high idle screw.
