the cvo seat (same as electra glide standard) is a great seat for short runs. it sits nice and low... but you definitely need to break hourly.

@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle Seat came today...already installed it and put about 20 miles in (it's 50* up here in NE Ohio and I have things to do). Tomorrow is supposed to hit 70, so I'll go out for a longer ride.
I was like, "oh, this is different." I really like my posture with this seat. My feet and ankle position are more comfortable, lower back support is exceptional. I put the passenger pillion on which gives even a little more back support. I do think I need to go +2" on my handlebars(yes, still stock bars).
I don't feel the "hardness" that people complain about. It feels like I'm sitting on the bike, not in it. While riding, I think that contributed to better control. Comfort was better than stock and just fine overall. Thanks for showing off this seat, my lower back thanks you!

Won’t own a bike with the stock seat have 3 Corbin’s 2 Saddlemens a Lamb and a Renazco. Best money spent for real miles
Robert have you ever tried risers or t bars apes look cool but having 90 degrees angles all around is a world of difference and handling is amazing for example Lucky Dave’s bar set ups and risers set ups are amazing curious if you ever operate bike with that set anyways be safe out there man and thanks for all your help

I'm just about to order my Dominator seat. I was going to back in September, but in NJ, the riding season was almost over. I figured, might as well wait till spring. I have a 2009 Road King FLHP police bike, stock. I love it but the police seat sits me up so high that I catch too much turbulence. It's comfortable though. But it's time to customize my ride. Seat first, and if I like it, I'll get the backrest and then the passenger pillion, even though I ride 1up. My girl has a Dyna. Great video and information. 👍

Great seat. How far does it set you back off of stock? Second Mr. Simmons is there any adjustability forward and back with the rider backrest, like the Harley adjustable or Mustang seats.?
I’vI got the Harley adjustable rider backrest 20 RGS. I love it it moves around great functionality. It was like $300 upgrade. Looking for reason to buy Mustang or settlement and want to know about adjustability and how far it pushes you back thanks brother.
The extended version of the seat gives you 2” of extra space. The backrest pivots slightly back and forth.
I’m getting the seat. I’m 6’ with boots. How tall are you? Cause on my factory seat I’m sitting on the back of seat. 2” might be good. Good display!

No it’s definitely an extended reach seat. I believe it’s an option, which I chose.
Mine sucks, the rear rubber feet broke off after a month and the back kills my tailbone, when you sit down the material on the back pulls forward and rubs my tailbone raw, it's like they didn't use enough material on the back. The mounting system also sucks, the holes do not line up properly for the bolts and they're close to impossible to get the threads started because the seat covers them completely, I had to buy two of the smallest and thinnest nuts to hold the seat down. Thing will never break in, I have about 4,000 miles on it and it still hurts my sit bones, the Mustang is way more comfortable.

So I bought one after watching your review(great review btw!), and I've only rode on it once so far. My butt felt like it was on fire.... literally. I almost pulled the seat to see if I had an electrical issue. Have you had any issues like this? It could be just the Florida sun but usually my seat cools off after a couple miles and this one didn't. Just wanting to know what you thought. Thanks in advance!

I already planned on pulling my bars closer to me anyway. The seat changed my position for the better.
Curious on your inseam and arm length being 6’1”. I’m 5’10” 31 inseam and 29” arm length From the tip on my fingers to my shoulders. I can’t decide between extended reach or standard.

Really want to try this seat but I had the saddlemen road sofa and it was terrible! Got super hot on DC traffic, didn’t break in after 2k miles at all and it was so narrow up front I felt like I would fall off the bike if I slid forwards.
