    Hey man couldnt help but notice you installed a manual 4x4 cable, i got the same one and its bout impossible for it to change over to 4wd without having to really force the lever over and rocking the bike like crazy any ideas why? Thanks in advance

      Oh that don’t sound good 🤔 make sure you’ve routed the cable good (no kinks or sharp bends) and adjust tension on the cable per SGROI instruction if that’s not the problem I’d say it’s probably something wrong with the splines on the pinion or coupling because it should very easily shift in and out of 4x4. I’d pull the sure 4 actuator housing and see if you can move the coupling by hand. If you can’t then you might have to rebuild the diff

      Hopefully it’s just a kinked cable but let me know what you find out. Also thanks for commenting. Odd I know, but Comments, likes, and subscribing really helps the channel grow so i Appreciate it.

      It’s probably seized on the splines. Try spraying penetrating lube and if that don’t work some heat from a torch should help

    A spring came out out whenever I was changing my axle and I was told to replace the axle seal . Where could I find one for the rear on a 2018 brute force 750

      It probably was the spring that holds the tension of the seal to the axle. I like east lake axle seals. These should work www.eastlakeaxle.com/kawasaki/dsk208/rear-differential-bearing-seal-kit

    do you drain the fluid before or after

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don’t have to drain the fluid unless there’s water in it. If a little comes out you can top off after replacing the seal. If you want to change the fluid at the same time I’d drain it first.

    Put some elkas on it. Stage 1s it'll change your life. No it doesn't not mess with ride height if you get utility springs on the elkas

    hey my wheel hub/brake rotor is stuck and rusted and it's hard to take it out how would you be able to take it out or is there a way to not have to take it out?

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question! I guess You could take off the whole knuckle from the a-arms and leave the rotor attached to the axle. You have to pop off the steering and upper/lower ball joints and pull the rotor/knuckle/axle out all at once . You could then use a press to push the axle out of the rotor and the rotor out of the knuckle. Make sure to grease the axle splines before reassembling so it won’t get stuck again

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also you could try soaking in PB blaster and a heating up the knuckle with a torch and hitting the end of the axle with a hammer to loosen it up. Leave the axle nut on partially threaded so you don’t ruin the threads or bend the axle if you do that though. It’s easy to mess up the end if you hit too hard
