  • Please watch PART 1 and PART 2.
A Day in the Life of a Reinforcing Iron Worker, Part 3 continues to follow Howard "Howie" Golding, Jr., a 30-year member of Metallic Lathers & Reinforcing Iron Workers, through one workday on a New York City high-rise construction site. Special thanks go out to Steve Perez, Local 46, who filmed this three-part series, and Bob Howlett at Locker Associates and MediaTek Consulting, who edited over two hours of video to create three 6-7 minute clips to give viewers an inside look at what it's like to be a reinforcing iron worker. Also, thanks to all of the hard-working men and women from all of the different Building Trades unions who allowed us to film them as they worked. Most importantly, thank you Howie Golding, Jr. for welcoming us into your home, and for letting us film a day in your life as a proud member of Local Union 46. All the best, forever, our 46 brother.
