    Your channel gives me: different vision of photography, English learning develop, to include your straight and careful style into my vision...
    I'm so happy to meet content like this, after war apathy I had after leaving Ukraine, because it helps me to recover a lot.
    Thank you Teo!

    Great video Teo. I really like how you show all of your shots regardless of whether they work or not. It’s too easy to show the keepers but not how you lead up to them. Your approach makes it less mystifying.
    I find when I’m out I just have to start taking photos to get into the groove and really seeing the place. Most of the early ones are poor but start getting better as I go along.
    Digital makes this so much better. You wouldn’t believe how many negatives or slides ended up in the bin. Can’t do that now with the cost of film!!

      Actually my newest video, in case you haven't seen it, has a portion with the GX80 because I finish the roll of film in the video and then continue to shoot digitally: th-cam.com/video/eTgMkeKGrt0/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Teo! Great "not sunny day" of shooting! Nice pictures and comments. I really appreciate it! I would like to ask you a few questions about the Lumix GX80. I see you enjoy using it, even though I saw a Sony camera with you. Why do you like the GX80? What are the main qualities and the main problemas of the little camera? What about ISO over 2000? Thanks for allowing us to see your photo adventures.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you - glad you like it :)
      I use the Lumix not for technical reasons but simply because it's often great to shoot with a small simple camera. It depends on the situation. Especially on holiday I love to bring the GX80 because it's not so intrusive, whereas the Sony is bulky and just overly professional for many situations. I had it with me here just for video, because the video quality of the Lumix is by far not as good as the Sony's.
      Pheeew I wouldn't even dare to go close to 2000 lol. That's why I bought the Sony - that camera is for decently high ISOs even though I avoid going above 2000. With the GX80 I avoid going above 800. Sometimes it's ok to use 1600, but preferably not.
      Hope this helps :)

    I enjoy this episode, your struggles, and your efforts, I just think you need to learn to embrace what ever is that God is giving you on that particular day, which seemed a fantastic occasion for some really dramatic BW shots. The mood for the day was depression, finding ways to transmit that feeling of loneliness and sadness through an image.

    Hi! I love your GX80 videos!! Just a quick question. I usually avoid using it under the rain, because I think it could be damaged by water. Am I over protective, or should I avoid using it under direct rain?

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're playing it safe I'd say, but not being overly protective - it's good to be careful! :)
      I also mostly avoid using it in the rain, but sometimes it happens... and when that happens I make sure to wipe of the water quite often and just dry the camera with my shirt every couple minutes to reduce the risk of damage. Also I often have a beanie with me, which instead of wearing I'll simply lay on top of the camera (when it's on a tripod) to catch the water. So far the last five years this little beast has survived :D

  • @acmdv

    RE flat images - Maybe if you had shot with black & white film the added grain would negate the bland lighting giving the images texture that is lacking in your digital images edit, though you could just go back to your digital files and add texture & grain which might give you some more pleasing results.

    • @teocrawford
