    I really like that you show the internet, that not every shot is a hit. Sometimes you get the impression that the photographers on social media get a hit by each picture taken.

      Of course!🤗 I see what you mean, I think it's natural seeings as the not-so-good photographs might not seem worth showing. In my case I simply want to document the process🙌🏼

    I really appreciate you including all aspects of this time in the woods -- what worked, what didn't, and why you did what you did. Definitely inspiring.

    These recent videos of yours have inspired me to give b&w film another go as a challenge to myself, since color is such a big part of my compositions and what draws me to subjects. Also I'm always impressed that you're able to finish a roll of film in one session; it usually takes me MONTHS to finish a roll lol

      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ohh sweet, I'm glad this could inspire you to give it a try! I think it's such a unique effect that can be explored🙌🏼
      Ohh no, I don't finish a whole roll in one session, never😳 But I shoot quite a lot so I might finish a roll in a week with two or three different sessions on one roll of film🤗

    A lovely episode, thank you. My favourite is the tree branches with the catkins against the lake, and I also really like the one with the tree branches reaching out in the puddle.

    Oh what a shame that you don't like the photograph of your shoes. Because I find that is the best shot that you have taken in this serie. It's really unique, but that's my opinion

    Love the way you narrate...so calm and collected. It compliments nicely the calmness that you're trying to convey. BTW, you forgot to mention the Mamiya Sekor 55mm f1.8 lens you used. [Caught a glimpse of it when you did a close-up while putting water over it for effect @8:07 into the video.] When I was into film, I used to put things - like women's black stockings or some netting - over the lens to create a soft effect. 🙂

    Man, I love that little lake. I took some epic halloween bedsheet ghost pictures there with my girlfriend. If you’re, lucky you’ll catch some beavers in the water, and in the surrounding forest is a deer feeding station. I’ve heard the whelps of a baby before, but they’re very elusive creatures.
    I really liked the second self portrait of you against them tree, but my favourite picture might be the reflection where you tossed a stone into the water. The ripples add great texture to the reflection.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh I thought you'd know this place haha! Ohh cool!

    For the action portrait, assuming a ten second timer on the camera, you could set eight seconds on the phone, when that goes off you have two seconds to get into your final position.
    Your video camera would be useful for confirming the shot.

    Found my new favorite youtuber here! You inspired me with your shots man! Got lumix gx80 as well! :) got a prime lense of 25mm f1.7 :)) quick qs. Do you have like a video of how to make the photos sharper? Say i’m shooting landscape with this lense, i’m really struggling to like make it look sharp? Or focused? 😅 dont know why.😅

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aww thank you! :))
      Hmm I don't have such a video. Have you tried manual focus? Maybe something's not working with the Auto focus? Because your photograph should be sharp without any fancy tricks actually :D

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not much, especially when just strapping a GoPro to my head. For some reason on this day I felt like filming a bit differently. But I should mention that the videos are not of the quality I would like them to be, however to achieve that quality I think it would end up being in the way🤷🏻‍♂️

    Thumbs Down for putting water on a lens, putting water on a Filter, that is o.k., even Vaseline can be fine on a filter but not on a lens.
