What a great little van. I would be proud to own and drive. Super Awesome you can work on the engine, wiring, etc out of the weather. I really dig that fact. You might find some new aftermarket weather stripping for the rear doors on a website somewhere. It helps prevent rattles.
It's funny that people love those vans so much as they were really terrible vehicles, I've had two of them, I know. The patina thing needs to die because it makes the vehicle look like the junk it is.
@@vinceforan324, Yep! I have a 62 Econoline. It was garaged most of its life, but the only real rusty thing I've had to replace is the fuel tank. The rest is just fine. These guys talking about how these have 'rust issues' have no idea that these are classics, and also, most of these when attacked by a restorer are changed a great deal. The bodies are typically restored to pristine condition too. People like the shape, the history, and how cool they are. They don't care about some bonehead's opinion of whether they rust or not! Lol 😄👍

Rust was a big issue with theses
If you actually look at how they were made its a full galvanized fram zero frame issues just body rust
