@@z.kramer6027 Bini's first win wasn't directly against many of the best sprinters, who had been caught out in the crash before the finish. This time he proved to be the strongest sprinter against the entire field, proving his first win wasn't just a fluke.
You know the haters are going to have something negative to say. Bini trains in Eritrea and he's a good sprinter. I knew he was going to win another stage. God is good keep Bini from all harm.
@z.kramer6027 I think you need to read the comments under his first stage win.... I'm fully supportive, respect and admire Bini... I'm having a go at the haters. Not everyone supports everyone....but I get you. Haters gonna hate and nothing better than sticking it to them with success... Go Bini 💪😎
BINIAM GHIRMAY POEM In the heart of the Tour, where courage meets speed, Biniam Ghirmay rides, a champion indeed. From Eritrea's 🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷 proud land, he takes his stand, Two stages claimed, history in hand. First African rider, in Tour's grand embrace, Green jersey leader, his skill leaves a trace. Intermarché Wanty, their teamwork true, Guides him to victory, amidst the Tour's blue. But beyond the podium, in Eritrea's cheer, Fans' love and support, ever sincere. From Asmara's streets to hills afar, Their chants lift him, beneath cycling's star. For each win, a tribute to families' strive, Eritrea 🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷 beams, where dreams revive. Giro d'Italia, Gent-Wevelgem's thrill, In every pedal, his prowess spills. Biniam Ghirmay, ride on with pride, In your journey's tale, Eritrea's guide. A hero on wheels, from Africa's shore, Inspiring triumphs, forevermore.
Over many years of riding & watching cycle sport evolve I cannot fail to notice how the technology has totally taken over competitive cycling to such a degree that you could not now compete without something like a 10K bike beneath you. If the riders all used steel frames & alloy rimmed wheels it would still be the same riders winning & losing so hasn't the whole thing got out of hand?
But it's Biniam Germay who deviated from his line now, he practically moved from the left barrier all the way to the right. But it's ok as long as nobody got boxed in behind? I'm not trying to defend Philpsen here, but sprinters don't have eyes on their backs, once they go they go. Both of them should have looked behind before doing their deviating moves, like experienced rides they should be.
I feel like in this case Bini and Jasper were already side by side the whole time, they moved right and their draft allowed the rider behind to close the gap and then he tried to go through the middle of them but they had already been shoulder to shoulder the whole way so I don’t think it was too big a deal.
@@tjtennisicmroll2k Yea, rules enforcement is weird here. Personally, I think it shouldn't matter who's the rider and whether or not there was a dangerous sitiuation behind. The rule says - don't deviate from your line. And it should be enforced all the time 100% so that every rider gets it into their skulls.
Second time the editors purposefully cut out Bini. Only putting white riders there on the main caption. Why ? It is a choice not a chance ? Bini won right ? Or is it just me
You're just looking for things to b*tch about. Everybody likes Bini and he's been on the captions of other videos where he won. Just today even, the one that shows the last km.

I love how happy Bini's teammates are for him.
Green jersey is ours
right! They seem like a great team
Small team but now with a very much verified sprint star.
Win one... everyone says it was luck because of the crash.... and now? 🔥 Respect. Winners Win and Hard Work Pays 🏆
who said it was luck everyone has always been very supportive of bini since the beginning of his career in europe

Nice poem!!
Beautiful poem for Eritrea's black gold Biniam Girmay.

Jasper, the disaster lost. Perfect day.
Amen and Bini didn't touch him.
Jasper is a chaotic sprinter but he ain’t a bad guy lol
Girmay looks fantastic in the green jersey!
Waka waka This time for Africa

I can't believe I heard Adam Blythe say 'Hawk Tuah' onlive television
Go bini big respect mate💪👍
Bini Vidi Bini Germai congratulations to you and all #Eritreans also #Africans.
Props to the commentator for his great pronounciation of the riders names!
And everything else such as place names. Masters it all
I enjoy the moment Bini carrying his bike in front of Jasper philipsen the disaster monster 😜😜😜
Another hurrah for B.G. ! ❤!
What a Win and very sweet commentator
Girmay!!!!🎉🎉🎉
perfection!
This is Girmays moment, the eritrean supper star❤
I am from bini germay ❤
I think De Lie woulda had it if he hadn't chosen such a terrible line. Was doing a good 2mph faster than Girmay or Philipsen.
He hesitated yet again and let himself get boxed in, yet again... was frustrating to watch. Happy that another cool rider won though.

Well deserved
Jasper the Casper lost vs Bini = perfect day

Bini 🚀🚀
Girmay was pulling away at the line. 🙂

With out Biniam gramay on captain ?

Binny is the best
He is not
Cav and others they are. This is just passenger on tdf😂

😂😂😂 equality on tdf😅😅😅
Poor jaspy
Doesn’t look like Froomie is gonna win it this year
Hes waiting til 3rd week… just you wait
lollllllll maybe next year
What an anti climax from the commentator. Happy for Bini but why would you give away the winner with a 300 meters out when it was so close?

or they could just sprint in a straight line, like the rules require
I feel like in this case Bini and Jasper were already side by side the whole time, they moved right and their draft allowed the rider behind to close the gap and then he tried to go through the middle of them but they had already been shoulder to shoulder the whole way so I don’t think it was too big a deal.

Nothing wrong here.
Jasper does it too abruptly and violently most of the time. He EATS UP lanes like a motherfucker.

don't be like this man everyone has always been very supportive of bini
I think they just don’t want to show who won in the thumbnail but maybe 🤷♂️

Lol, you're just reaching man. Who even pays attention to the thumbnail
it's to avoid spoilers bro someone didn't watch full race like me and just watch highlights
White knights in the comments
explain yourself, what is your 'white knight' in reference to?
You're not black...@@mesagoat
Any English highlights anywhere without a clown doing fake accents?
Wtf? Rob Hatch is a seasoned commentator and he's bilingual. He doesn't have a "fake" English.

Nope. This guy is the best English speaking commentator.
