    Thank you for this!!! This is so unique, I've never seen affirmations for fearful avoidant attachment. You really have a great understanding of us. Some of my favs in here are "I don't have to push people away to feel safe" "I;ve been through some tough things but I'm still standing" "I deserve the right to communicate my needs and boundaries in a healthy way" "When things get stressful I will pause and communicate without shutting down"

      I see you guys and the pain you’ve been through. I feel like anxious people are just a major trauma away from becoming FAs themselves 😭

      @@IamCoachCourt Yes I have been researching more about AP's lately too to understand where they come from and can empathize, we are both insecure types and makes friendships and romantic love a lot harder to get and hang on to, but not losing hope ❤

    Dear God, thank you for showing me that the unhealthy attachment style is already healed and that my secure attachment style is already here. Amen.

    "I choose to see the same beauty in my person that they see in me" I just started listening at that smacked me in the face. So many things about getting close to others makes me uncomfortable. I started seeing my partner a few months ago and the intensity of her feelings for me makes me feel like I'm just waiting for things to blow up. It's a pattern I've had, building some intimacy and vulnerability, then feeling like it's not going to work out and suddenly I can find many reasons why I dont wish to be with them and we're not a good fit.
    I'm realizing how many people have felt love for me, and how I've been unable to return that love and push them away.
    I'm working on healing my avoidant attachment wounds but it feels like the resources are scarce. Thank you for these affirmations, after one listen I can already feel a shift happening in my mindset.

    Thank you so much for this, I’ve had a very HARD road with relationships, friendships, family & it always leaves me lonely, I’ve finally come to the realization that I am a fearful avoidant due to my past .. but I am grateful for the awareness the Creator has given to me to change this pattern!! I've never experienced affirmations that were tough to listen to! The one about trust really stirred some things up. My brain pushed back 'trusting people is how you open the door for them to hurt you,' but i gritted my teeth and listened through the whole thing. Definitely worked through some deep seeded wounds with this.

    this resonates so much with me!! all of them were like little aha moments. do you think you could make another one with longer pauses between the affirmations (which are really unique and not drab like a lot of them can be!) so we can repeat what you say in our heads and really let it settle in? if not, oh well, thank you for making this!!

      I just started no contact 2 weeks ago after texting my avoidant husband for 7 months. We've been together 10 yrs married for 5yrs lived together for 7yrs. Been separated for 2yrs. We got back together after 10 months but never move back in. That lasted 7 month then he ghosted me May 2022. Like I said I gave him space after he ghosted me but texted him weekly. In Nov. I saw a video of him at a club I know he like to hang out there. He kissed this girl while dancing. I called him out when I saw this n he stated that we weren't together anymore.I also saw photos on Facebook with him n this girl dated last 2021 when we first got separated Oct.2021. He's been seeing all this time. When he came back to me he was probably seeing her also. He send me a text stating that he was sorry for ghosting me but he doesn't want to lie to me or hurt me anymore. I'm really not ready to give up on my marriage. I recently enrolled back to school for my bachelor degree in psychology n working on healing myself for me. I walk with God daily.🙏🙏

    Idk if I'm a fearful avoidant or anxious but they can exist in the same person right? As a psychology major I began to learn attachment style 6 months ago to deal with a dismissive avoidant friend. I changed rapidly and now I think I have more secure but still sometimes have avoidance and anxiety. I learned to seek help from my school, it offers free therapy for students. I listened many advice from different people. I watch Your vids and recommend it to my classmate. It really helped. Now I know he covers his new gf from me and ignored all my gifts, letters, my attempts to communicate. My attitude is: I just want to be a friend, if u have a new girl Pls love her and treat me Friend or Stranger. He said "Grass is always greener" line and he got her within 2 months. That's a rebound maybe? Pls respect us two girls ok? Since he can't treat me as a normal friend, I made the decision not to wait for a dismissive avoidant anymore. I move on. Also I have no regrets. I don't blame anyone. I did nothing wrong. That's the milestone of me becoming a secure people.

    We can't use negative words like don't in affirmations

    • @rose.loves.1
      @rose.loves.1 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      With that logic u cant use the word dont in ur normal life either. Affirmations are just an extension of ur normal psychology. Dont cut off your ability to be comfortable with negativity or linguistic negations. Unnecessary limitation
