I'm making a dress and I needed to know how to make an off the shoulder top and a good pattern for a top. I just added some darts in the main body of the top and it worked perfectly. I added some princess seems and lace and it looks so intricate... thank you so much this tutorial was so helpful!!
You weren't kidding this is beginners easy thank you!! Sometimes I find a pattern they say is beginner friendly, but really isn't haha, thank you for making this! I'm trying to learn how to make my own clothes and this is one of the least intimating projects i've seen and is EXACTLY what I was looking for
Not recommended! If you use fabric glue please do some handstitch to secure.. 😅 Because after a few washes it might come off. But do try! Maybe your fabric glue is super uber stronggg 💪🏻
It's different for everyone. For me, I measured my shoulders, and minus -1 inch, so the elastic stretches abit and holds well. Also take in consideration on how easy/hard your elastic stretches, and estimate from there. Hope that helps!

What was the difference between the shoulder fabric compared to the elastic? Like did u multiply the elastic x2 to get the fabric etc.?
Please let us know the sleeve opening measurements to cut if we don’t have a template tool
