Yes, an amazing structure with steep ascents, all had to be quarried, cut into shape, transported + placed for "the great wall of china"..

Great trip. Bit curious, is Badaling the center point of China's Great Wall? Since North Tower and South Tower meet at here. Also bit curious, is there any public transportation to visit starting or end point of Great Wall of China? The first train to Great Wall is priorities view of panorama, and for someone not in rush, this train is great. The second train a.k.a High Speed is great for return trip from Great Wall and directly to Capital.

There are many hotels near Badaling Great Wall 1km. But most of them are not international chain hotels

國內旅遊景點最大問題是本身國民遊客太多太擠擁了！外來自由行非國民都非常不便！必須有好充足預備才能順利，最好有當地人帶領更好！因為公共交通是非常複雜的！購票亦不利外來客！

國內遊客很多是跨省的，雖然很多景區擠迫，但能大家同樂，很好😊，由其看見一家扶老携幼，感覺大家生活樂融融。
偶爾排隊時被打尖感覺不好，後來明白那些跟團的大叔大媽怕走失了才拼命擠。作為旅客，我認為這是一個體驗😊
