      I haven't tried their maroon pad yet. I generally use Rupes yellow pads for straight polishing. Nice finish and I really like the feel of them.

    When you do a 1 step and finish removing the majority of swirls. What can I use to remove the deeper scratches that look deeper than light swirls. I use the medium cut maroon pad with 3D compound n polish.

      If I'm going after deeper scratches I always do that before the polishing step. But what I'm using changes from car to car. My go to is a Griot's microfiber cutting pads and Griot's Fast Correcting Cream. But I generally don't go after RIDS unless the client really wants it and also understands the consequences of removing paint from the car.
