    Giving Martha's Truck Justice: th-cam.com/video/w1EwNBUCgts/w-d-xo.html
    Remember Man of Steel and that scene where Jonathan Kent tells Clark that "maybe" he should've let those kids die? Did you know that same truck comes back for Zack Snyder's Justice League? It's actually an incredibly emotional inclusion to the Snyder Cut.

    What makes the batmobile for me is less about the actual car but how the car is portrayed. What the reveal scene captured wasnt just a batmobile, it was an angry demon thirsty for a kill and i loved it

    For me a moment I will always remember was when the batcave appeared for first time, and there was a shot of the batmobile's engine sitting there. A bunch of people on the cinema gasped, including me. My friend asked why, I pointed the engine. It's absolutely nasty to strap two turbos on a humongous V10 engine, but I didn't know how to explain to my non-car people friends how that engine was a warning to what was coming

    The one thing I took away from the movie about the Batmobile was the sound when it starts up in the alley. It looked cool in the garage but the car came to life with the low burble of V8 mixed with the high pitched whine of turbine, just so awesome. It immediately turned from a prop to an actual character when it starts up!!!

      The asymetric flame popping from the front engine nearly made me chear aloud in cinema. One of 3 shots from this movie I will remember. The other 2 are Battinson walking towards Penguin with flames in the background and the dark fighting scene lighted only by machine pistol fire.

    Great research. I read where all the shots they did with the flames (coming out the rear and the engine bay in the front) were filmed using the electric car to avoid flammable gasoline. I'm guessing from a design perspective they wanted the rear engine to power the "jet Engine turbine" and the front engine was the standard V-8 driving the vehicle. At least that is why it made sense to me to have two engines.

      "In universe" the vehicle only has one engine. The real props have the "real" engine concealed because the visible engine -- especially the rear flame --- could never work.

    • @mickray3202
      @mickray3202 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That was kind of my take-away from the movie: that the car must have a big V8 in front that is the main driving power to the wheels (exhaust flames under the hood), and the rear engine is supposed to be more of a jet engine for strategic power boosts, like jumping the car thru the flaming semi truck. But what really matters is that THIS Batmobile in THIS chase scene was a huge adrenaline rush and played out almost like a scene from a horror movie.

      One thing to note though. Merch drops usually are what makes a content creator the most. As Streetspeed717 showed one video $12k on one video. Regarding the steering wheel, there are several enthusiast companies that custom machine steering wheels (and other company) out of aluminum like Evodindustries and Sparktech, so being that a steering wheel would be very prominent in POV shots, I’d guess it was custom made for whatever look the designer wanted, either in-house or outsourced to a fab shop like the ones mentioned .

    Its not a Dodge Charger, its a 1971 or so Plymouth Cuda. The front end and rear lights, plus the roofline are more of a match to that. That side window placement has been altered and also the rear window where the jet engine is.

      There are some conflicting sources that have since been released. Design-wise, it looks like another engine with too rich an air-fuel mixture, but I've also heard that it's just lights synced with the electric motor of the Tesla Batmobile.
      Aesthetically, on the big screen, I love it. It's just an added level of a threatening and vengeful Batman.

    Where do i find the rims? Are they custom? Because i really want some that fit a 22.5" rim. And where would i go to start building a similar front bumper, but sized up for a semi-truck?

    You did an amazing job with this video. What people have to understand this is batman in his beginning years as a crime fighter so him and Alfred pretty much had to do everything from scratch. I hope eventually they show Foxx and he looks over and the batmobile and says I like what you did but I can do better.

    TWO BAT EARS ALL THE WAAAAAAY UP! That's how you do a youtube break down video on a fictional car! Confirmed what I believed about the BATMOBILE being a 68/69/70 DODGE CHARGER. After all, WARNER BROS. produced BULLET(with STEVE McQUEEN), BATMAN and THE DUKES OF HAZZARD! So wouldn't be surprised if the new BATMOBILE was originally a left over GENERAL LEE. Great freakin BAT-JOB brother!
