Ive just found one of these in a house clearance, no idea if its working but seems to be complete and with spare parts.. this video willbe a great help i feel

This HPI Truggy is worth a hard look because the 4.6 is just an awesome motor......well proven in the Savage. Like to see this vs the Losi 8 Truggy.
yopacific The losi 8eight t is a race inspired platform so is probably better! Shame they don’t seem to make them anymore

Wow, very impressive. Only 3 pulls right out of the box. Very helpful video. I am about to break in a new engine in an old ST. How many tanks did you run before you put it on the pavement? I think the heat is the trick.

Too rich mate - if there’s lots of blue smoke and the exhaust is spitting raw fuel you need to lean it out

Anti-clockwise (left) = rich
Having trouble breaking in my hpi trophy any tips all manufacturer settings starts then stalls tried with bit of trim works but then stalls again now won't start at all I have been pre heating with hair dryer to

Yes, factory settings are fine for first 3 - 4 tanks of break in. After this I start by leaning out HSN then LSN 🤝
