I have this truggy and after throttle the car dies and then will start up fine again run okie good low end okie high end but as soon as I stop blipping the throttle it dies, the car idles well when first started too!!!! please help :)
I impulsively bought a HPI bullet ST 3.0 as my first RC car (straight to nitro) and I wanted to just say that your tutorials and tuning tips have came in very handy and are very easy to follow as a beginner. Currently all broke in and tuned at 5 tanks however I’ve kept my HSN slightly rich still until it’s had around 10 tanks through! What a fun hobby ( and addictive )
Another brilliant video I did the same and still didn’t go to crazy on it till I hit 10 tanks and mines been running very good even at 5 years old now 💯
Just subscribed and this is a great video. I bought a Savage SS about 17years ago and never got it running properly. Think I knackered it by not breaking it in right. It idled fine and accelerated well but would then bog down. Had it looked at but no joy. Thinking it’s time for a new engine and start again!
Man I love nitros, I fixed up an old street one, and I can’t go half throttle because it’s to fast! I have to use it in some massive car parking lot, anyway nice vid, keep it up!
There's tonnes of different ways but they all achieve the same result, I hear many stories of people not even bothering with break in and they have no issues!
Can you not stop the wheels spinning on the radio ? Throttle trim mate ? Or is that part of tuning and to early to do it ,or because there isn't any throttle trim and the carb regulates the rpm on it only ?? ...
Yes you can, but sometimes when these engines are new they won't run without the wheels spinning until they've had a few tanks through them. The wheels spinning isn't an issue as long as it's off the ground
Good video 👍 Have the same car and struggle a bit with tuning. I set the hsn well also when I set the lsn counterclockwise, ie less fuel so I get a temp of between 120 and 130 degrees. When idling, it goes down to 110 degrees. Runs at 25% What do you recommend me to do? You put lsn on the video more fuel on lsn? Then the car will be good but as soon as I am idling a bit and should acceleration it dies a bit and then it comes so maybe get a little too much fuel in the beginning? 🤔😁
I've not had the Vantage, is it a buggy? The carnage is a good car. They're both based on the same chassis so your decision would come down to whether you fancy a buggy or truck :)
@@TheRCBiker I kind of fancy the buggy more than the truck. Reason why I asked you is because when I watched one of your old videos of you having a ftx carnage I knew you had more knowledge about the car anyway thanks for responding😀😄
Hi, I am looking at one of these and the supplier recommends 16% fuel in a package which includes all the oils you need, is there any reason for this %age? Wondering if it’s for the break in procedure before moving to a higher %age? Thanks in advance
Hi Lloyd, you want to be starting with the same percentage that you intend to use. 25% will be fine for break in and bashing. If it's just on a website you're seeing this kit I would suggest it's probably more just a general website package rather than recommended for your particular car.
Hi, loving the videos 👌 I'm looking at getting my first Nitro the Trophy 4.6 caught my eye and now I'm here. Do you consider it a good entry level machine? Or are there better ones in a similar price range? Wanted mainly to tinker with and bash round the local quarry with my son. Thank you again great videos 👍
Hi mate I was just tuning my low speed needle on my nitro car it has started to be very responsive when i applied little throttle where it drifts and does donuts too but when i do full throttle it's very sluggish reaching to full speed is it because the high speed needle is too rich or could be something else? Thank you
TheRCBiker i cant believe i just seen another one today but its a roller just missing engine, £60 bargin, just need a decent engine, can you recommend one?

Your right front tire has a flat spot, and I'm so glad I found your channel again, I used to watch years ago
Probably from where it was sat in the box for a while, seems to be OK now :) Thanks for tuning in
Its a trip watching you grow throughout the years and been a big help to new guys such as myself enjoy this hobby. Keep doing what your doing man! 😎
Thanks, will do!
Great vid man you are the Attenborough of rc
Seems a great way to break them in when getting new cars will definitely follow these break in videos
Thanks, there's lots of different methods and they all achieve the same!!

Hi just just orderd a hpi mt 3.0 and was wondering how long it takes to use a full tank at idle?

Awesome stuff, thanks :)
Will you ever buy a Traxxas revo 3.3?
Maybe!
I wonder how many people follow it, I used to, until I learned more.
What do you mean fella?

TheRCBiker I went and done it! Superb bit of kit, some light tuning and it blows my brothers savage away, not even fully tuned yet, well impressed!
I think I prefer your way of doing it !!
Me too!

Yes it's a good car, very well built :)
3 shoe clutch would awesome or even a 4shoe clutch these only come with 2 shoe clutch you can see in the video it’s actually slipping abit
Thanks for watching

What is the best nitro rc car for under £400
Oooh well £400 will get you something good! What's your preference (Buggy, Truck, Truggy, etc?)
@@TheRCBiker probably a truck I was looking at your video on the ftx torro is that a good one
It is, but if you have a bit more to spend I would recommend spending a bit more. What about the one in this video, the Trophy 4.6?
@@TheRCBiker ok I will thank you so much it actually helps alot getting advice from an expert
Goes well that
Sure does!
You should get a tello drone, and then you can program it to fly in a circle by itself so you can then shoot videos of the RC cars from the sky.
I've got a Mavic that will do the same thing
I just let mine run through a full tank then pretty much ran it after that, good so far.
Nice work!
Hi bro how u doing
I'm good :)
haha that one dislike...i hope to think they just missed the like button!
I'd like to think so ;)
1 person has disliked this video. Don’t fully understand what’s going on in the brain of that person

I'm sorry I didn't buy one of these years ago when they were still cheap.
Thanks for watching!
