I have just made this quilt top in different shades of blue and white. It was quite challenging. I’m not that accurate!! But it looks stunning. Going to hand quilt it and im using the trimmed triangles as half square triangles as an extra border. So pleased, thank you so much for sharing. 🇬🇧
I’m glad I found your channel… I have been trying to use up my scraps, and find inspiration. So many videos about how to cut your scraps into manageable sizes, but not so many following up with videos on using them in totally random ways. I’m loving your designs! Thank you!
This is great, thanks!! I can make 25 of these blocks - finished at 7" square - in a 5 block by 5 block pattern, add a bit of a border, quilt in the ditch and then bind. The size will end up being about 36" x 36", which is exactly what I need for Honor Flight quilts (given to veterans traveling free to DC to honor their service). Another variation I can use for my work. Again, THANKS !!!
Hey Suze! This is so cool! I wish my Bernina purred like yours LOL. I want one of those little irons! I'm gonna do this with some of those treats I got at the Dallas show ❤❤❤❤
❤️💙❤️💙❤️💖💕❣️your quilt I always love a good scrap buster project !!!! Any reason to use my left over material !!! I am very Kind to my material !!! I can really stretch my material into other project !!! I hear some one say pull out your scraps !!!’ I AM RIGHT THERE !!! Thank you for sharing and caring 👏🏿🙌🏼👍🏿👊👍🏿⭕️🍭🎈💖❤️🥰💝😍🍓🤎😀
I love your scrappy quilts and a busy cutting mounds of fabric into readily usable sizes; the link for teepubic doesn't seem to work and when I go directly to the site I don't see how to recognize your name so that you get credit.
First time at your site. Love the quilt design. I am wondering what make and model machine are you sewing on. It is the most quiet machine I have ever barely heard, Also what table or desk are you sewing on there appears to be no movement.
My machine is a Brother Pacesetter PS500. It isn't really quieter than others. I just lowered the volume on my video. There is a link for it in the description of my video. The desk is from Wayfair. Here is a link: www.wayfair.com/storage-organization/pdp/gymax-625-x-20-foldable-sewing-table-with-sewing-machine-platform-and-wheels-cloy1007.html?piid= . It really doesn't move or vibrate much at all. Thanks for watching and welcome!
Thanks!
Thank You! Thank You!!

This will be a great project for me. And I'll use all those random bobbins up too!❤
Yay!! Use up those scrappy scraps!
Watching lately, everything is easy & magnificent. Thanks for sharing even as a year has gone by. Thanks Deb ♥️

Great quilt and great way to use up the scraps.
Thank you Momma!
Thank you so much for using your design wall, really helps understand the quilt pattern
Glad it was helpful!
Great pattern!!
Thank you! 😊
Love it! If you alternated to,colors of squares, you’d get an interesting hourglass block effect in the secondary pattern!
Great idea!
Love it
I love your videos ❤🎉
Thank you Heidi! Much Love to you!
Brenda from Conquering Mount Scrapmore sent me your way. I love what I'm seeing here.
Thank you. Brenda is awesome!
Beautifully coherent and fluid commentary. So easy to commit each step to memory. Thank you kindly. Cannot wait to try your quilts.

Easy to free motion hearts on this quilt.😊
Totally!
Sorry, I'm in Illinois, forgot to put earlier. Thanks again. Deb ❤
I like. Just finished a scrappy project but I still have a huge amount of jelly roll strips and 2.5 inch squares.

Thank you! I feel like I have to use them up since I have so many. Comments like this keep me motivated!

You are so welcome! I might make another one. It was truly easy and fast.
Think I'll try it with dk/light effect! Thanks!
When you do, keep in mind which way your seam allowances are going.
Love it very much. I’ve got bins of 2.5 “ strips and a bucket of 2.5” squares!
Another great scrap quilt. Thank you!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for sharing looks great

Sounds great!
Wow, so simple, but what an impact. Great stash buster! And I love the pressing hints. Makes for a much flatter block.
Glad you like it!
This is fantastic! I’m going to be doing scrap quilts after a finish a couple of obligations.

Yay!!
Very nice thanks for sharing this neat quilt project
My pleasure 😊
Great quilt
Thank you 😊
Beautiful!! Nice work :-)
Thank you very much!
You wouldn’t have to draw that line if you would use the diagonal seam tape. It saves me so much time!
Indeed! I use my diagonal seam tape constantly!
❤❤❤

Awesome! Thank you for your great comment!😁
Of all the scrap quilts I’ve seen, this one really speaks to me. I really love the yellow border. 💛🟨
Thanks Julie!
This is a great tutorial. I’m new to quilting and I have enjoyed watching your video! Where do you buy your mini iron? I live in Sydney Australia.
Thank you for the kind words. I bought my mini iron from Amazon. They have many to choose from.
When trimming block to 7.5” square, should allow 1/4” so points aren’t cut off?
I had the same thought?!
I honestly didn't pay attention to that. My points are all cut off a tiny tad. It is consistent throughout the quilt.
@@revelationquilts Your quilt looks great regardless but will look for possible point cutoffs if it comes up. Thanks for sharing-love your video!
LOVE❤❤❤❤
