    Thank you, Kathy! Reminded me how much the bottom hip doesn’t go forward and the back leg juts forward 🤣 but that last variation that reminded me of my playing Twister as a kid really helped… The back leg can’t go forward anymore when it’s placed back in the first place! 😅

      Daniella, in uttita parsvakonasana you want to stabilize in the back leg starting
      from the foot. Take the foot to the wall and press the outer edge down
      enough that you feel the touch of the wall. Pressing the heel, lengthen
      through the back leg using this to anchor and lift the back inner thigh. As for
      the blanket, It may be a bit soft, have a 1/2 block or roll a belt to use but make
      it compact. Use those if you still can’t press down. But…..I bet you can.
      Uttita trikonasana, yes, you got it. Thanks for your comments, wonderful. xx

    Dear Kathy, Great class! I loose the extension in the strap i.e. it does not remain tight and high enough on the hip no matter how much I adjust it :) Any solutions? ideas?

    • @DesaYogiIyengarYoga
      @DesaYogiIyengarYoga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, it sounds like you must move your back leg further away so the strap on the front leg is firmly pulled on that front thigh. Back and front leg connecting. Conversely do not make it too wide or your stride will not be correct which won’t give you the leg to pelvis connection. Move the legs about 4.5 feet apart depending on your body size and leg length. That is an approximation so you must adjust to work for you. Hope that helps you understand. Namaste
