Try to find a logical reason why Jessica got 6 times as many points as Ann Sophie, Jamie-Lee and Levina from Germany 2015-2017 COMBINED. They had equally generic pop songs and far superior vocals, but ended up so low in the score. Or look at countries like Switzerland or Macedonia who never even qualify. Jessica Mauboy and Isaiah were hella overrated by the juries.
Sweden's televote was deserved. They were horrendously overrated by the juries. I don't think Australia was overrated by juries, or underrated by televoters. Jessica's vocals were off, and televoters don't like the idea of Australia participating.
So without jury voting Ukraine would have been seventh and therefore in the Top Ten😨 well this is unfair in my opinion because he made such a great show! 💔

Jury voting sucks.... Ukraine was totally ignored by juries getting 26th place and then in televote the 7th... There is obviously something wrong with the voting....
You can really feel how much Salvador was happy to give the trophy to Netta. He just gave it so quickly and then just ran away !!! Imagine his reaction when she won. He just showed Europe that you can win the contest with a pure, emotional, genuine song and then Israel wins win that. Ok ! There's really no logic at all in the hearts of europeans.

Tiki Taka But I actually need to defend him now after I saw the detailed rankings. He actually ranked pretty good (except for Sweden on number 1). He was the only one in the German jury who appreciated Albania. And he put Norway on last place. Also reasonable rankings for everything else. Now I'm actually a little proud of Mike Singer. He was literally the best one in Germany's jury this year. We had an old woman in the jury who put Albania on the very last place and Australia on 2nd place... I don't want to be rude, but sometimes I'm really wondering if the judges' ears work properly.

Juries rate high the quality entries. Ukraine's lyrics didn't make any sense, Italy is an overrated fanwank and Bulgaria didn't stand out that much. Televote fucked up everything, Austria and Sweden was too underrated same with Albania.

Not with Sweden. Sweden is very low by televoters - 23rd. Some countries didn't vote for Israel or gave almost no points for it but most of them gave modest amount of points :(. People probably mostly voted for it as a joke. Also all countries voted for Cyprus (except Cyprus obviously). Men voted for it because it is very sexy musical performance ]:D.
France was 8th in the jury voting, while the televotes had them 17th, so the juries did France a huge favor... Italy though, oof, year after year the juries ruin their chances...

I'm shook by this huge discrepancy in the results. Ukraine was in top for televoters, but was given 11 points by only two juries? Wtf???!!! I was really surprised to see Israel win, and I would have been equally surprised if Cyprus, Sweden or Austria had won. I thought that the victories of Jamala and Salvador meant that people now preferred authentic songs to the "mainstream" ones. I'm happy for Netta, but seeing her win after Salvador feels odd. And I'm disappointed to see O Jardim so low...the song was really touching, and simple, Isaura and Claudia deserved better imo.
I think Bulgaria didn't deserve more maybe one or two places(sweden, moldova should not have been so high) but thats it. the performance was underwhelming like so many in the 2nd half and their staging didn't help which I knew it wouldn't.
If you were right they wouldn't have got The Marcel Bezençon awards for the best song and best camera work. Eurovision is still not ready for this kind of perfection.

I'm still in shocked to see that France finished so low (one place lower than last year) but I mean a very favorite almost everywhere! Odds, fan tops, at concert... I think Italy should've gotten a lot more jury points. No other song is as touching, as relevant right now and as poetically written as that one. I'm glad they at least got a high result from the televote.
The worst jury screw-over this year was of Italy and Ukraine. It is frankly embarrasing. The juries must GO!! I am Swedish and I still think that the juries are a disgrace for placing songs like ours and Austria in the top (we did not deserve that low score in televote though)

Feel so bad for Ukraine and Melovin. I mean last place in the jury vote? He was definitely not the worst by far. He wasn't going to win, but he deserved to be in the top 10. I mean, the jury voted for Austria and Sweden, and they were two of the worst songs and performances of the competition. At least the viewers got it right.
ESC needs to get rid of the jury vote. They had Italy (public's third favorite) in bottom 10 and Ukraine (public's 7th favorite) at the dead bottom. On the other hand they had Australia, which btw was terrible vocally on the night, in 12th position. WTF?!

The thing is that it is finally time to eliminate the jury's votes. We saw it again. Sweden received 274 points from jury and 21 from televoting, Cyprus was 5th from the Jury's vote and 2nd on televoting. Ukraine was the last country on jury (26? points) and ogt the 7th place! Italy was 17th for Jury and 3rd on televoting. Poland, Australia and other countries had this problem. I think EBU has to decide to stop jury's voting or at least go with 80%-20% than 50-50.

the final result is very divisive, each of top 5 get more than 300 points, the remaining top 10, each one get more than 200 points, from the beginning, we couldn't clearly tell which one is the winner, apparently this was shown in the final tally

Not with Sweden. Sweden is very low by televoters - 23rd. Some countries didn't vote for Israel or gave almost no points for it but most of them gave modest amount of points :(. People probably mostly voted for it as a joke. Also all countries voted for Cyprus (except Cyprus obviously). Men voted for it because it is very sexy musical performance ]:D.

Jury was ordered not to evaluate Ukraine. Azerbaijan and Moldova did not know this! And their points correspond to points of viewers!
I'm shook by this huge discrepancy in the results. Ukraine was in top for televoters, but was given 11 points by only two juries? Wtf???!!! MELOVIN has the highest number of views of his two performances on the Eurovison stage.
And Again we have Sweden, one of the lowest scores by televoters but so overrated by the juries.

I was really surprised to see Israel win, and I would have been equally surprised if Cyprus, Sweden or Austria had won. I thought that the victories of Jamala and Salvador meant that people now preferred authentic songs to the "mainstream" ones. I'm happy for Netta, but seeing her win after Salvador feels odd. And I'm disappointed to see O Jardim so low...the song was really touching, and simple, Isaura and Claudia deserved better imo.

The problem with Bulgaria is that that song requires them to outclass the rest with their voices for it to work. They did not do that.
I think Bulgaria didn't deserve more maybe one or two places(sweden, moldova should not have been so high) but thats it. the performance was underwhelming like so many in the 2nd half and their staging didn't help which I knew it wouldn't.
If you were right they wouldn't have got The Marcel Bezençon awards for the best song and best camera work. Eurovision is still not ready for this kind of perfection.

I'm still in shocked to see that France finished so low (one place lower than last year) but I mean a very favorite almost everywhere! Odds, fan tops, at concert... I thought they will be top 5 for sure at the jury and at least around 10 and 7th place but 17?? hell no and absolutly not that far behind Germany and Italy who was inexistant before

The worst jury screw-over this year was of Italy and Ukraine. It is frankly embarrasing. The juries must GO!! I am Swedish and I still think that the juries are a disgrace for placing songs like ours and Austria in the top (we did not deserve that low score in televote though)

Feel so bad for Ukraine and Melovin. I mean last place in the jury vote? He was definitely not the worst by far. He wasn't going to win, but he deserved to be in the top 10. I mean, the jury voted for Austria and Sweden, and they were two of the worst songs and performances of the competition. At least the viewers got it right.

ESC needs to get rid of the jury vote. They had Italy (public's third favorite) in bottom 10 and Ukraine (public's 7th favorite) at the dead bottom. On the other hand they had Australia, which btw was terrible vocally on the night, in 12th position. WTF?!

The thing is that it is finally time to eliminate the jury's votes. We saw it again. Sweden received 274 points from jury and 21 from televoting, Cyprus was 5th from the Jury's vote and 2nd on televoting. Ukraine was the last country on jury (26? points) and ogt the 7th place! Italy was 17th for Jury and 3rd on televoting. Poland, Australia and other countries had this problem. I think EBU has to decide to stop jury's voting or at least go with 80%-20% than 50-50.

Just saying Denmark you guys really won the nordic peoples heart. the juries in the nordic gave you just 7/48 ( Outrageous what a bs results from them ) but televoters responed quickly gave you guys 44/48 in total.
I think Rasmussen hoping that nordic people helps them became a reality.
